My favorite rod
I love this rod and use it all the time for bass, perch, and panfish. I love the plastic cap that covers the eyelets when the pole is collapsed. I actually keep it inside my tackle box in my trunk so I can fish whenever I have a spare hour or two. The only thing that I find disappointing is that you can't put it back in the case it comes with without taking the reel off, so I don't use the case. The rod feels sturdy and flexible. The reel has a nice smooth action. I highly recommend this to anyone who like to fish on a whim.

Ok for cheap rod and real combo
Check the timing on the real. Mine was off after half the spool was loaded. Replaced it with a 4000 series real from another manufacturer.
