I've owned two of these after losing the first one on a trip. They are great, heavy duty and work well. I would buy it again.

This cable works exactly as expected providing both charging and data transmission. I bought this cable specifically to install a USB wall outlet behind my couch going to my PS4 console for use with a wired controller connection. This cable is male to male and the repeater is to one side of the cable which worked great for me since I was running it down two walls and across the attic. When I first installed it I put the shorter end from the repeater box to the console side, tried it and found that I had charging but no data, I reversed the cable ( long end to the console from the repeater ) to the console and BINGO that worked! So to save yourself a ton of time by learning from my mistake! Other than a complete lack of instructions and no info on the web at all, it is a great cable!

Works great reaches all the way around my room can pick up the phone while it's charging and it's almost like having a phone that's on the wall with the long cord.

Works great, much cheaper than buying a gaming chair that sits closer to the tv, than the couch, and much easier than moving the couch. We've had it for a couple of months so far. Our son has even used it to build a blanket fort, and it hasn't been damaged.

These worked for our web cam and for the controllers to the retro pie we have. They do not work if you put them together and then attach the webcam. You have to get a longer cable for that.

I use this for my Oculus Rift (USB 3.0 port on PC). Keep something in mind. The length of this cable is beginning to push the distance limits without some form of boosting. The longer the cable gets, the more the cable resists the signal. I had no luck with "active" cables, only those that add external power to the signal.

The blue casing at the end makes this cord hard to plug into some things (it doesn't like to sit in the ps4 controller properly) but other than that, it does what we need it to.

I made the mistake of running this in my car before checking if it worked first, but when I plugged my rear dashcam into the cable, my dashcam failed. I tried it with my Bluetooth music device at the time and the cable was intermittently charging the device. I would strongly advise choosing a different cable.
