I just made the baking soda water 1 tsp per cup of water just like it said and I painted it on the wood with the brush, nice brush btw, and laid the leads down and it worked flawlessly. I was slightly skeptical when I read a few negative reviews but I bought it anyway considering the generous return policy and I'm glad I did. I'm not super sure it's much safer than using a microwave transformer but having done both it does seem way safer. And judging by the amperage that it pulls I tend to think it may not kill you if you screw up but I'm sure the microwave transformer will. So this feels better to me.

Waste of money. Didn't even come with gloves. Didn't even work go to someplace?Maybe a little bit more expensive, but go to someplace else

This fractal wood burner does not work! Do not waste your money I prepared and used it according to instructions, it would not burn at all. Unfortunately I was delayed in opening and attempting to use this product past the period of being able to return the item, so I’m out over a hundred dollars and fairly irritated at having been taken in by the several positive reviews that are posted on Amazon web site.

When I say in its class it is because it is not very fast. There are faster ones but the also cost much more. This is a good product and with only a couple minor introverts it could be a great product in its class. First is it could use either different clamps or probes with about a 90 degree curve t make it easier to prop them onto your work piece. It will not clamp down on the probes at a 90 angle as the gaps in the teeth ar larger than the probe. 2nd, the lead wires could be a bit longer to ease the having to shift everything so much. And finally they give you connectors to crimp onto the wire leads. With these types of leads I believe in soldering for a more solid connection. And the provided crimp connectors are not solder friendly. The built in safety items work as they should and anyone with common sense can safely operate this as long as directions are followed.
