Amazing device for the money but beware ...
If you live in California, New York, or any other fascist state, remember even a stick is a deadly weapon. I would not consider these a deadly weapon, but in the right hands or with luck these certainly could be. If you are already a 26 year old male and can bench over 200 pounds, you might have the strength to use of one of these in a close combat fight. If you are over 50 you might scratch someone enough to make them back off. The look is intimidating. They have a flat bottom that will push against your palm, and they are long enough to penetrate certain parts of the human anatomy and draw blood, but the real fact is this can be difficult to accomplish. If you live in a nanny state, this could be all you have. My first choice would be to avoid any combat situation, but gangs are smart. I once survived an encounter with 2 thugs but there were 3 more behind me. I dropped 2 but went down by the surprise tackle of 3 more from behind. Not pleasant. These devices are between a zero and 1 on a scale of 10 with 10 being a firearm you know how to use. You can never been fully prepared for any type of combat, but if you can keep your wits about you, and the opportunity presents itself these could save your life. They come 4 to a box for one low price, so put one on each keyring and pray you never need to try using it. As a pure survivalist accessory, these would make nice tips for a spear. They are not sharp at the point, but sharp enough with some mass and energy to take down a small animal. I don't know if they can be sharpened or not. They are also good for parking your keys somewhere that the metal will fit temporarily. Never engage in any physical activity where you might fall with one of these in your pocket. The close proximity, your own weight, and gravity could be fatal. (Like a lot of the "extended length" keys that come with newer cars). Bottom line - they are NOT TOYS and not for those lacking in mental capacity. They are probably good for a womans purse. Like everything from saws to hammers to knives and guns, they have their place under the right circumstances, but that is for you to determine BEFORE you find yourself in a threatening situation.

Jagged edges, easy to cut yourself.
Jagged edges, easy to cut yourself just by handling it. Only one out of four was defective. I bought another one and returned the defective one. Other then that one they are all 5 star. They are not plastic.

Surprisingly really strong
These are really cool and actually super strong. I gave some to my family. I feel like they are inconspicuous because they look like unicorn horns, people will just think youre really into fantasy.

Great For Many Things!!! Preparedness, Bug out, Survival and More!
I really like these and think that everyone should definitely read and taking the top review by merciless. It is to my knowledge and background well written accurate and informative. I do believe that as said above they have a place and use for some of us and as people mention also they are great for sort of looks and a bit of intimidation more than sometimes practical usage. It is nice that they can break out a car window potentially in an accident situation either for yourself or to see if someone else if possible. Would be very rewarding if One is able to accomplish this. Mine all arrived in good condition and and Seems strong sturdy and well-made for the price. Have bought four boxes so far? Given them as gifts to hotel staff members and more that have constant altercations with transients etc. to have some thing that is not incorrect completely to have on one’s keychain for police etc. purposes when they arrive but can again provide a bit of show of strength as long as you can back it up or handle what might happen if someone has a real weapon and you don’t know how to actually utilize this or other self-defense moves definitely be careful. As they say don’t be a hero but these do work in the right situations to help. Also as a survivalist and tiny life or Van Life or RV life or etc. camper these would be very helpful. I’ve even use them at the post office or at home to/boxes when I didn’t have a key or a knife they do have enough of a point to poke through even very thick tape if you do it with the right motions. So in essence they could also be everything from a digging tool to steak to hold up a 10 or a makeshift shelter or to poke into holes before getting bitten by a wild animal you’re trying to find or catch, to hold some thing in place as said above a spearpoint possibly or use the flat end carefully to hammer or smash in to some thing like to open a seed or a pit against a rock/to smash up fibrous roots or medicinal pants by using it like a pestle against a natural wood or Rock mortar, for foraging/eating natural food Emergencies, it could be used as a stir stick for anything from soup to Ramen to coffee...Technically with two of them you could do a lot of different things whether they’re attached together or are used in one hand or both like chopsticks almost even though they are a bit slippery, again I feel one could accomplish quite a bit with ingenuity and a sense of being a bit of a MacGyver.I see endless alt uses.Great stocking stuffer really fun work gift etc as long as people again don’t misuse it or take it incorrectly that it is a full proof self-defense weapon.Know your role, know your abilities, know your situations, and always try to be aware.I put one on every keychain Just in case and as also people mentioned good to dangle from dog leashes because I get bothered all the time.Easy to fit in a pocket purse or on a keychain lariat to be extra obvious, I feel like these are a must have for any bug out bag or survival kit...even first aid.If you know how to improvise these could absolutely be the change u need to make it!!!Stay safe!

This is the best price I found online for a set of black kubotans. They are exactly as described and seem strong and good quality. I would recommend to others.
