size chart for dosing:Shiloh,148 lbs requires three tablets from the 25-200 lb box. Read the MG min for large box 114mg. This price better than my local B&M! Not always true.
Mine are on a ground human organic raw Beef and Bison diet.  It’s possible tapeworm occurred from meat, but in ground protein  shouldn’t have survived processing. Not true for K9 frozen RAW Diets.
I’m also treating w a topical.  My GSD’s have food allergies. Love love my GSD’s very tired of the immune issues.  But, my life would be empty without them!  We have hookworm in our soil, equestrian properties do. Recommend Pyrantel suspension and SafeGuard suspention (liquid). Far cheaper than Panacur! Must calculate by weight. Chart on back of bottles.  I use the lower mg/weight calculation as I deworm regularly to catch all lifecycles.  Absolutely have discussion with your Vet, take notes with product names and weight charts with you.  Let your Vet advise you about your dog as they know History.
Buying your own wormers, Heartworm and Bordatella Vaccines, especially if you have multiple dogs (any size) can save a lot of money/year, Help you buy better foods, or pay for emergencies.  Woof!

My understanding is, that it does. After using it. My dogs have never had worms again

how long does one dose last?

I really don't know but I would think a full dose would last 6 weeks. It would depend on the size of the dog.
