Q: Do these fabric paints work on leather?

Yes, however it is always best to prepare the leather before you begin - for example, remove any coatings, waxes or oils that may be on the surface of the leather. We also recommend testing the paint on a small area first.

Q: Does the paint come off fabric and clothing when it is washed?

No, the paint is permanent. After you ‘set’ the paint by ironing (after 12-24 hrs of painting) you can wash the garment or fabric 72 hours later.

Q: Does the paint allow careful 3D build up layer-by-layer, and is the end result have a ‘plastic’ finish?

The paints do come out as a thick, stable gel, and they layer well as long as you let each layer dry before applying the next one. The end result has a pleasing shiny plastic finish.

Q: Can the paint be used on hard surfaces such as plastic, wood, etc?

Yes, the paint is suitable for plastic, wood, shells, rocks... but always spray them with a clear protective coat when dry.
