This is NOT in a glass jar. This is in a plastic jar, and it does not specify. Plastic is notorious for leeching BPA, BPS, phthalates, and other chemicals into fats like butter, oils, and nuts. Whenever we have purchased it before, it has always been in a glass jar. I went to Artisana's website, and they now make both glass and plastic jars. This should be specified on the page, but it is not.

I love this brand and the flavor is delicious. However, the spread used to be in GLASS jars which is perfect. I received my last jar and it is PLASTIC. Not cool and should be listed in the description. Who knows how long it has been sitting in the plastic and what toxins are now in the spread. Will no longer purchase.
