Ford Model A - All Models 1927 to 1931: The Essential Buyer’s Guide

Overly simplistic, very small size, low production quality
Many of the books in this Veloce series are quite helpful albeit all are of cheap production quality. But this one is not so good. The material is too superficial to be or real use in buying a Model A Ford. For example, the book talks about how engine numbers generally serve as "chassis" numbers for these cars -- but the authors do not even provide a table of chassis numbers by year nor to they tell us how to tell the nation of production,. With regard to production quality, these books are stiff and will not lie open. Quality is similar to a free mail order catalogue but with overly stiff covers. Veloce are missing an opportunity for what should have been a big series idea. Try Wikipedia and Google first,

Excellent guide to what to look out for when buying a Ford Model A
The book is great. It's just what I needed when I went to see a Model A I was interested in buying. So glad I bought the book ( and so glad I walked away from the car!!!!)
