It fits pretty well, and I have a big head. It does like to slide back, but I was also wearing other headgear so it might have just been that. It's light and breathable though, I ran around for hours in this with 85 degree heat and I was fine. It was noticeably hotter with it on of course but not by very much, and it was better than having a sunburn. I'm not sure what is up with the cheeks area of these. They're like a band that go from behind the ears, I don't know ho to describe it. I don't know if it's supposed to make it fit better or if it's supposed to leave room for shooting earmuffs or what but it's odd. It fits just fine, and doesn't look any different, just odd.

I really liked this balaclava. The color is good, fits well, can cover the nose or pull it under your chin with no issues, and it's light weight. I run a Gentex ballistic helmet in XL and this balaclava fits very nicely under the helmet padding! Sometimes the padding in a helmet + the balaclava can cause a fit issue. With this product, not so much. I really have no issues with the product except that it's really tight/small around the mouth and nose. VERY small. It would be great if it were well fitting around the bridge of my nose and loose under my nose, mouth, and jawline. In the Texas summer, this thing is really good, but I can't use it for some of my activities because of the tight fit. Darn! I hate when folks don't do this, so... I'm 5'10, 160lbs, with a 31x32 pant. Sorry, I can't remember my cap size, but hopefully you'll have enough given my helmet size to decide if it's a good purchase for you.

Big improvement over what I was using previously. The fit and design seem excellent, stays well positioned on face and head. Breathes reasonably well, as in I don't feel my breathing is over restricted once it's wet or damp. Have worn it in hot sun, cool damp mornings, and in the rain; comfortable in all, though I wouldn't want to wear it for long while doing strenuous activity in hot weather. Hat and hoodie are easily put on and removed without need for adjustment of balaclava. Time will tell on construction. It's been soaked in Permethrin once and gone through the washing machine a half dozen times and still in one piece, no sign of deterioration. I use this primarily for tick and mosquito protection in the woods and bush. Soaked in Permethrin it's done everything I want it to do. Works well enough for this purpose that I will be looking for a non camo version to wear if needed in more public areas. This this just does a good job of covering my hair and beard to avoid picking up ticks.
