SHEEX Breezy Cooling Sheet Set with 2 Pillowcases, Breathable, Silky-Soft Fabric, Taupe, Queen

UPDATE: Yup still awesome. My favorite bedding combo is sheex sheets and a flax linen duvet cover + pillowcases. It's like chocolate covered pretzels, but a bed instead - the linen has a coarse feel to it and the sheex are smooth as butter so they bring out the best of each other when used in combination. You DEFINITELY have to use the top sheet or you've just wasted a lot of money. Between you and me I like to sleep in my birthday suit so I can feel all of the goodness of the Sheex. My husband always thinks I have an ulterior motive no matter how many times I assure him 'no honey I'm only naked for my sheex tonight back off'. Also, these sheets won't make you cooler that's a bold faced lie. I'm not upset because I didn't ever believe they would (I don't believe there's ANY sheet out there that will do that). But they make you comfortable. It's hard to understand until you try them, but they make it so there's no barrier between you and your exspensive mattress. And yes even the thinnest of sheets that aren't stretchy like sheex creates a barrier that cancels out a lot of your mattress original intentions, which is to relieve pressure points. These sheets will fit ANY mattress btw. My mattress is 12 inches plus I have TWO 4 inch memory foam toppers on it. These are the only sheets that fit without deforming my bed at the corners from being pulled so tight, and they've never not once slipped off a corner. Also, this is a real review. I bought these with my own money, I have no ties to the company. I just love their sheets. I'll never buy another set because they're too exspensive but I do love the ones I've got.ORIGINAL REVIEW:I bought sheex 4 months ago. I used them a few times and wasn't impressed whatsoever. I put them away for nearly 4 months until 2 days ago when I changed my duvet color to purple and wanted the sheets to match (I only had purple sheets in the sheex brand). I decided to use the top sheet this time just to be fancy, last time I didn't use it. I don't know if it was the added top sheet or the change in season (it's cooler out now than it was 4 months ago) or if the sun moon and stars aligned perfectly for me but I woke up this morning more comfortable and refreshed than I have been in probably a good solid year. I vaguely remember waking up once to go to the bathroom and sliding back into bed and feeling the softest brush against my skin when I slid the covers up and they were Goldilocks warm - not too cool not too hot but just right. It was like being in the middle of a sherpa fleece cocoon that's lined with silk - except I don't like fleece it makes me sweat just looking at it, and I don't like silk I think it feels gross and it's too slippery - so it wasn't exactly like that because I actually loved this feeling but I don't know how else to give you a visual of the warmness I felt without it being too warm and the softness I felt without it being too extra soft (wait is that even possible? Whatever you get my point). I could hardly pry my body out of bed this morning I didn't want to let go of the magic. I don't care for the pillowcases they don't do anything for me other than match, but those sheets though! I'd give 4689678 stars for comfort alone. The reason I'm giving 4 out of 5 though is because of the price. My son uses this material because hes in every sport imagineable so I know it's exspensive even just for a kids t shirt but $150+ is a lot for bed sheets in my opinion and I will never in my life buy them again because of that. So the set I've got now better last me a lifetime because I'm a tight wad and I'm terrified of existing in a world where these sheets aren't on my bed. I've slept on polyester microfiber, bamboo, cotton of all kinds, linen and sheex - and the sheex gave me the best nights sleep (when I added the top sheet) out of all of them.Update a year and a half later: still awesome still vibrant still the best

Read all the reviews for this Sheex Breezing Cooling Sheet Set - it is everything they say it is. The bottom sheet never wrinkles and the top sheet is rather 'silky', but the great thing is that when you just cover with the sheet, you can feel that it is very cool as it touches your personage. I was so pleased, I bought another bottom since I don't want to throw away my other sheet sets. I will not be using any other bottom sheet from now on. If you know what a gusset looks like - it is gusseted on all four sides and it looks and acts like it it totally fitted - the top of the bottom sheet is super easy to put on and really - it never slips, slides or wrinkles. I washed them before I used them - and they laundered very well and quickly dried.

These sheets feel nice and do a decent job of keeping me cool at night, but if you have rough feet or even the *hint* of a callous you'll know it when sleeping in these. I don't consider my feet to be more rough than the average adult's, but I certainly have a few mild callouses and you would think I have the nastiest, roughest feet in the world based on how they feel against these sheets when I sleep barefoot (which I typically do). This isn't so bad that I would stop using the sheets but I don't plan to buy another set.

NOT cooling, at least not on my memory foam bed - maybe it's more the bed and not the sheets?? Not sure but these did not help with cooling at all. For something named 'breezy cooling' I expected at least some coolness and got none... Maybe my expectations were too high? Live in southern California and it's been more humid this year than in the past so I was really hoping for sheets that would help cool. I have multiple avenues to cool the room (window air conditioner and fans) but work nights and need to try to keep cool during my daytime sleep hours when it's the hottest. I do not recommend these at least not on a memory foam mattress - I'm still wondering if these would work better on a traditional mattress but they certainly did not help to cool at all.

I was skeptical about ordering these sheets because of the mixed reviews. Also, because I knew if I didn't like them then I wouldn't be able to return them in good faith. I had some expectations for these sheets but wow. They are breathable and I notice about 5 degree difference in my sleep. These are pricey for sheets but worth it. I am glad I purchased them. I have already recommended these sheets to 3 other people.

Bought these for the Purple mattress. They are stretchy and work well. They are very light and feel nice to sleep on. The only drawback is that they are so slick that blankets/quilt slides easily off. Sometimes during the night I have to readjust my covers because the top layers have slid away. It's also very challenging to make the bed because you can't adjust the layers individually; if you pull the blanket, the top sheet slides with it because the fitted sheet is so slick the top sheet can't get traction to stay in place. Overall these sheets feel nice, they work on Purple, but they're a bit hard to manage in and on the bed.

So I consider myself a bit of a sheet princess, I love luxurious sheets, and these seem really interesting so i figured I would give them a try and here are my thoughts:They feel really weird in bed, I hear you need to get used to them but I just couldn't, as you toss and turn in sleep you feel like your slipping all the time. I didn't get the feeling they are cool either, and one other think that fabric will cling or snag on your toe-nails--i know really odd/weird.The only thing I did like was using the top sheet as a cool lounging blanket as you watch TV or read, since you you really wrap yourself in the sheet. Honestly i would just buy one top sheet and be happy. So give it a try but not for me..
