Dog Training Collar with Remote, 100 % Waterproof

Well, Ioved the collar for the first week, then it broke. You could clearly hear something rattling around inside. The lights were all on but it wouldn't vibrate or shock. I truly expected it to last longer than a week. If you decide to buy it make sure you keep the original box and equipment so you can return it if necessary. Other than it breaking it did everything as promised.

I don't think it has the range claimed but when it works, it works. There are 4 levels of vibration and shock, maybe one level on sound. I tried level one shock on my one finger and it was uncomfortable enough I had to pull it away. It pulses on so you cannot hold the button down for continuous which is a good thing. You switch from sound to vibrate to shock with the mode button. You set the level 1-4. What I don't like is when you have it on vibrate, say 3 (just to distract them when chasing our cats inside the house) then switch to shock for outside, it remains at the same level you had for the previous mode, 3. You have to be careful. I will probably never use this beyond level one for shock. My dog - He is a one year old Belgian Tervuren (thick double coat) who we've been trying to make less alpha with our 9 year old. He played too rough, running at him and ramming him, latching onto his neck, etc. We shocked him when he starts these behaviors and said No. After a few tries, he stopped doing it, without shock or command. He weighs 50 pounds. So, while I'd rather not have to use this, it was necessary for the safety of our older dog and has worked. This is one of the more pricey models out there so I can't say it works better (or worse) than more reasonably priced units. Note: Our dog is big, strong and healthy. This may be too much for smaller dogs with no coat.

It works periodically and has to be recharged often.

I love the idea of this collar and it's works exactly as I had hoped. I didn't want one with only a "shock" setting. With a 4 month old puppy, I wanted the ability to switch between a tone, a vibration and then a mild shock if necessary. The remote is wonderful in that you can be extremely humane with gentle reminders and use the shock only if the pet puts himself in a dangerous situation. I love this training collar and have been able to correct several issues. I highly recommend it.Updated Dec. 4, 2014. Please read comment. I'm sorry I had to downgrade this from a 5 star to 2.Dec. 8, 2014. I am positively flabbergasted. I didn't even ask for a refund because I didn't keep the original packaging after a month or so of this collar working well. I was disappointed in what happened and downgraded my rating. To my absolute surprise, not only was I refunded but just received a replacement. You are by far the best and obviously take pride in your selling. 5 stars once again. Thank you so very much and we'll be back in training soon. He's only six months now and still needs lots of reminders. I can't give enough praise. Thank you.

The remote is very cheaply made. The back light is great to see the screen but it doesn't help with the buttons in the dark. Then light on the bottom is a joke unless you are looking at something 2 inches away. The instructions are not real clear on synchronizing the remote to the collar. I was under the impression that it had a wider span of levels to each command and it doesn't. The color definitely won't fit a dog up to 100 pounds, it barely fits my 45 pound dog. The final test is to see how it handles when it gets wet, so there may be a follow up response.

Item was mis represented. I have a 70 lb dog and the collar did not fit. The info on website says it will fit a dog up to 100 lbs. It looks like it was meant for a toy breed or no more than a small dog at best. Even more frustrating is the fact that once the receiver was fully charged, and we turn it on, the remote and receiver did not communicate so the collar did not work as it was inteded. We followed directions closely. No vibration, no tone, and no shock. Collar and receiver are useless. Don't waste your money on this collar and remote. I was very disappointed in the item.

Works good I have a 1year old lab she try's to ignore it but I just keep pushing button until she gives in she listens good after 2 weeks.Trying to get a new coller as she removed and chewed it up.might have to buy new setup

Confused my dog! Beeped without pushing the button with a full charge on.I charged the collar all day on Friday and tried the collar on a Saturday when I had all day to train her. I corrected her once with the beep and within an hour it was randomly beeping BY ITSELF. The beeping got more frequent, I took the collar off and it power off but continued to beep while on the counter. It got a little wet as I was using it while hosing off a large rug. That's when she usually barks but it is suppose to be water repellent. It's not good training if your dog doesn't know what to respond to. She became very confused.
