Just received my 2nd pair (black) of these awesome shorts (3 days early!). Soooo comfortable, love the zipper pockets that are very roomy. I have washed (delicate) and dried (low) 1st pair (gray) more than a dozen times; still look like new. The 2nd pair are for when it gets and stays hot, so I don't have to do a load of laundry just to have my fave shorts. We've been having a rash of purse grabs in parking lots, and the pockets are generous enough to hold cell, wallet, sunglasses, keys, kleenex...stuff you'd have in one of those smallish cross-body purses (which I find uncomfortable). I'm always wondering, if I order an article of clothing, will it fit? Loathing returning stuff, took a guess on XL; they fit perfectly. Crossed fingers 2nd pair would be comparable; they are. Gotta say, the size chart is a bit off, says XL is waist 32"-34" but don't let that stop you. Taking a chance (with first order a year ago), ordered XL anyway...SCORE! Having a 42" waist, the wide elastic band still has ample stretch so these beauties fit very comfortably...snugly enough at the waist, but still have another inch or maybe two of elasticity. (This is a plus in case I gain back the weight recently lost.) Having thinner thighs, they are nicely loose in the leg too; these are very, very comfortable. Hope sizing detail help choosing size, I wish more buyers would include this type info.

Lightweight great material and length

Very comfortable, light weight easy to pack. Fits great , size XL, 5’ 8”, 160 lbs.

Prior to wearing these shorts the first time, I washed & dried them, then had them professionally shortened a bit. When I put them on today, my first time wearing them, the right-front pocket zipper wasn't working. Despite pulling it up and down, I couldn't get the zipper to close. On my last attempt, the zipper pull tag came off and I can't get it back on. If I hadn't had the shorts altered, I'd return them.

Upon receipt of these shorts, I merely tried them on while standing and decided for the price, I would keep them. It wasn't until recently that I actually wore them for a period of time. While doing so, I noticed that when I sat down the pockets, which indeed are deep, hung out below the leg hemline. In view of this, I wouldn't order them again.

I bought these last year and am just now getting them out, but when it comes to adventure shorts, I’m finding myself reaching for these every time they are clean. They are thick and durable, and an easy fit.

Like these! Fabric is nice and lightweight. I'm happy about the length as it gives a bit more coverage than any I can find. Pockets are nice. The waist is a little snug. Measurements suggested I buy a small (I'm 5"9, 120 Lb.) and I got a M because I like a little room for food. I will buy another pair of these, but am debating even getting an L to try.

I needed some new lightweight, quick-dry shorts for kayaking, hiking, etc. and these are great! I'm generally hesitant to order clothing on-line due to wide disparities in sizes and fit, but since you can't use fitting rooms at stores currently, I decided to take a chance. These fit me as advertised, and I'm glad I ordered them in both colors. Great price and love the roomy pockets - as some others have noted it is odd that the tags are cut out, so we'll see how they hold up. But so far, so good!

I enjoy that the shorts have a tie to make them bigger and smaller. They dry quickly and the pockets are deep with good zips. The sewing on the inside pockets is a little rough, with some loose threads that i cut off.Otherwise i would recommend highly
