I’m so glad I chose this bag
I was searching for a yoga mat bag that would also hold a change of clothes, shoes, my mat, and any props I needed. I went back and forth between this one and a smaller one. I’m so glad I chose this bag. It’s roomy but not huge and more than big enough to hold everything I need. One thing to consider, though, is how much space your studio has for bags. Mine only has a few shoe cubbie holes and a bookshelf. This bag is far too large for those spaces and does not collapse down well.Another thing to point out is the zipper is brown. I found it odd when I received it and I immediately pulled up the posting and zoomed in...and there it was, a brown zipper. The bag is black and white and the zipper stands out a bit, but I’m over it now. It’s such a fun, whimsical bag that I can look past a zipper that doesn’t match. If you’re on the fence, I would say go for it! You won’t be disappointed.

Beautiful bag with incredible versatility. Hold my Kurma XL yoga mat + so much more.
LOVE this bag! It fits my ridiculously long 80" and heavy Kurma yoga mat. https://www.amazon.com/Professional-Yoga-Extremely-Ashtanga-Approved/dp/B06ZZC9XNT/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?ie=UTF8&qid=1523917210&sr=8-1-spons&keywords=kurma+yoga+mat&psc=1Prior to this bag I used an over the shoulder sling for a much lighter weight mat, but as soon as I placed my Kurma mat order I knew the sling wasn't going to cut it. This bag is very well made. The material is substantial and the pattern is eye-catching. The zipper is plastic yet heavy duty. It is fully lined with all stitching inside and out properly finished. No hanging threads or wonky overrun stitches that are often times an indication for poor workmanship.I use the exterior zip pocket for my iPhone 7 and a protein bar. I pack the interior with the following.- Kurma XL yoga mat-The medium and small size towels from this set: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075LL374M/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (this set is brilliant - I bought 3 and use the large towel daily for showering at the gym).- This sweat towel https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06ZYBQ563/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (indispensable for my hot yoga practice).- My wallet, sunglasses, small bag containing lock, hair ties/misc small items (that my microfiber towel set arrived packed in) - Although I don't take my yoga props with me to the studio I can confirm that this bag will hold 2 blocks even with all of the other items I stuff into it.The only thing I wish this bag included is an interior zippered area to fit misc items into that I prefer not to place in the exterior zippered area.I would not hesitate to purchase this bag again.

PERFECTION!
PERFECTION! Have owned several mat bags over the years and my new Manduka Pro was too big for my current bag. So, of course, I started checking out bags on Amazon. Carefully read other reviews about several different bags and how much each one can hold. I'm so glad that I decided to go with the Extra Large duffle bag by Kindfolk. I received it promptly and in perfect condition. Brought it to my hot yoga class this week and it held my Manduka Pro mat, 2 cork blocks, a strap, a mat wash spray and a couple of small towels. Front zipper pocket held my class pass and car keys. The celestial pattern is so pretty too! The material and zippers seam sturdy, but I guess only time will tell how well it will hold up. I highly recommend this bag!

You cannot go wrong.
I have carried my props around for years in a sling while in search of the perfect yoga bag. This is it. I purchased the extra large and it holds my 72” Manduka Prolite mat (rolled loosely), oversized thick yoga blanket, 2 cork blocks, strap, Alpha balls, and I could easily slip in my therapy balls if I could locate them, and my tiger tail roller, all without over stuffing the bag. The construction is excellent, as is the quality. The handles are sturdy and attached well so they will not bend under the weight of what you put in the bag nor pull off. The handles are long enough to carry the bag from my shoulder. The outside pocket easily holds a cell phone, keys and small wallet. The double tab zipper runs the length of the bag and down both ends so the bag opens fully making it easy to load. Very satisfied.

Not happy with how long it took to arrive
Not happy with how long it took to arrive....obviously Prime doesn't mean 2 day delivery anymore. I like the bag, but wish it were a bit larger. I have thick mats (Manduka & Hugger Mugger Mandara) I can fit one mat, 2 large blocks, a strap, & 1 blanket. I can squeeze a 2nd blanket in it, but it's bulging at the seams. If it were just a bit larger, I'd give it 5 stars!!!!

Yes, roomy, but heavy handles and no inner pockets. :(
So, yes this bag is roomy; I have a Manduka light - so it's not the huge black one, but still heavy and hard to find a bag for. This one has ample room for that...but it's one big compartment, which means everything goes in the same place, hence small items can get lost in there. There are no inner pockets...which would be great to carry smaller things in there. There is one small zippered pocket out front - can barley fit an iPhone. The handles are very heavy, and not at all practical to carry a yoga mat. I did end up keeping it, not worth the hassle to return and pay shipments but I probably would not get this again.

Holds my Jade XW Fusion mat
I really like this bag. It's just long enough to hold my Jade XW Fusion mat, which is 28" wide. It also has quite a bit of room for other things. It seems well constructed. The fabric is beautiful and everything about the bag seems quite sturdy. I do not drag it about to classes and the like, however, so I cannot speak to how well it would hold up under those conditions.UPDATED: In addition to my large mat, the bag currently has a travel mat, 2 blocks, a yoga towel, a pair of knee braces, off and a strap in it without straining the zipper. The straps feel very sturdy; too many bags skimp on straps that break with little use, but I feel confident that these should last as long as the bag itself.
