The Official SCRABBLE (r) Players Dictionary, Large Print Edition

Only problem is I was expecting a paperback book-size and this is really big. It's for my Mom who turned 93 today. Might be hard for her to lift, but she needs the large print.

On a regular Scrabble board, between my essential tremors knocking tiles of the board and my friend's failing vision, it was taking us over an hour to play one game. Our usual three games were making for later and later Saturday evenings. We were so excited when this arrived in the middle of a very busy day, we stopped to try it out with a couple of turns. We couldn't put it down and finished a whole game in no time! It's taking some discipline to hold off until next Saturday to play again!

While I am certain, that this is a very comprehensive dictionary. I could not , nor could my wife, view this dictionary: the pages are very small and the print is only for those who see 20/20 or better. Not intended for those of us who are 60+ or who are visually impaired. Suggest- large print volume which is also available through Amazon. Have since ordered it and am awaiting it's arrival. Sometimes you just have to spend more to get the quality you want.

Love this, print are large plus the breakdown of the words are simple. Even my 8 years old use it as her dictionary.

This book makes it a lot easier to find words.

Older year. Very heavy. But well worth the cost for large print

Got it for husband and his father- husband is 70 and father is 99. They both love it! : -)

I paid almost $40.00 to get a new book and this one is obviously not new!

見た目以上に堅苦しくなく、洋書の中では読みやすいものだと思います。SCRABBLEをプレイする時に一冊あると一味違いますよ。洋書ではなく辞書と、とらえた方がいいかもしれませんね。
