The future is here— and my floors never looked cleaner!!
I just got my Roborock Saros Z70 and can confidently say it's one of the most impressive robotic vacuums I’ve owned — from the setup, to the app, to the navigation and cleaning power. But, what sets this apart from the other robotic vacuums… the super cool robotic arm! Setup and Navigation: Initial setup was straightforward with the Roborock app, and the mapping process was fast and accurate. Within minutes, it had created a detailed floor plan of my home. (Don’t look at map on my video— that was before I mapped the house because I was excited to play around with the robotic arm!). The navigation is incredibly precise. It maneuvers around shoes, pet bowls, and even cluttered areas without getting stuck. I especially appreciate how it identifies common obstacles and doesn’t just bump into them blindly like my older and far inferior robotic vacuums. Cleaning Power: The vacuuming performance is excellent. The suction is amazing. It easily picks up pet hair, crumbs, and whatever grass or leaves I dragged in on my feet from outside. The dual spinning mops with hot water cleaning really pick up dirt — our white socks never looked cleaner after walking around without shoes on. And with the mop auto-lifting feature, I don’t worry about wet mopping on our area rugs. The Robotic Arm — Very cool, but has obviously has some limitations: The OmniGrip robotic arm is the headline feature of this vacuum. It’s genuinely futuristic and works great picking up socks, a stray tissue, etc and move them aside before vacuuming. It even did ok with some of my dog’s smaller toys, but obviously not the big or oddly-shaped ones. The robotic arm is a nice to have and not a need to have for me, but is pretty neat and fun to play with. My dog is still trying to figure out what this thing is! Dock and Maintenance: The multifunctional dock is a huge plus. It not only empties the dustbin and washes the mop with hot water to clean and disinfect for the next use, but it also dries the mop to prevent mildew smells. Maintenance is minimal — just refill the water, cleaning liquid, and empty the waste tank once a week. Final Thoughts: The Saros Z70 is a cleaning machine! It does the work, so I can focus on other things. It offers real value for busy households and/or those who want the latest in smart home tech. I am very impressed!

My Best Smart Assistant
I have been using this Roborock Saros Z70 for over a month now. It’s been a total game-changer in my daily routine. The Saros Z70 is not just a vacuum robot, but a real smart assistant in everyday life. Well, I was surprised because I had apprehensions over spending so much on a new floor cleaner. I was wrong, the Z70 is a great little machine. I was never satisfied with other robotic cleaners they just bumped around the house got tangled up in wires and barely cleaned. I wasn’t convinced that a new one with a “Mop” would work. We have a large house, so the “MOP” features impressed me. I don’t have to mix the cleaning fluid with the water, the Z70 does that. The water container stores enough water so that I don’t need to add any during a mopping cycle. Surprise of all surprises, it really does clean the floor. There are plenty of programming choices that can be programmed. Sweep, Mop, Both, Whole House, Single Room. When the battery is low it docks, recharges and goes back where it left off to continue the cycle. I like being able to control it from my phone and also found the online tutorials useful to explain the setup of the cleaners features. Yes, it does have a robotic arm and it will pickup small items and move them for you. Cleaning performance is top-notch - with 22,000Pa* suction power, the Saros Z70 effectively lifts dirt, dust, and debris from various floor surfaces. Built for efficiency, it delivers strong suction while keeping maintenance simple and easy. Upgraded Hot Water Mopping accelerates the breakdown of tough stains. Plus, its slim design means it can sneak under furniture where dirt loves to hide. The docking station is amazing—it empties the dustbin, washes the mop, and even dries it with hot air. what a low maintenance! I do like this cleaner enough that if I was given the choice again whether or not to buy it, I’d do it again. Overall, the Roborock Saros Z70 has exceeded my expectations in every way. Excellent investment ever…

Works great for the price point
I am going to start off by saying I also have the S5 which is the big brother to the E20 so I will be doing a little comparing between the two. I bought the S5 at Christmas and I loved it so much I decided I wanted to get one for upstairs since as of right now the S5 does not have multiple floor plan mapping saving. I went with the E20 because I don't need any no go lines upstairs and its less square footage so I could not justify the extra money for another S5 yet this vacuum is advertised to still do a version of mapping and not just random cleaning which I wanted. For a midlevel robotic vacuum, it does a good job. I will add I have read some reviews that complain about it getting stuck. Let's think logically if you don't semi-clean up an area before you run the E20 and expect it to not get stuck your expectations are too high. It does a good job going around things but if you have any items that can get sucked up its going to do just that so being upset that it's doing what its designed to do because you don't take 5 minutes to pick up cat toys or move cords well don't blame the machine and if you don't want it to get under your desk or other places where it can get stuck then you should save your pennies and get the laser S5 which has in-app no go lines and boundaries and does a bit better at avoiding cluttered areas. Pro's Navigation: For not being a laser navigation bot it does a good job of navigation. It cleans in straight lines for the most part like the higher end S5 but uses an electric eye to navigate which for 200 dollars less is impressive and even though it's not as efficient as its big brother it does well. Dust Bin: This bot has a huge dust bin at least double the size of the S5 I wish my S5 had this much space for dirt! App: The app works well it does give you a map while its working and it's nice to see but it really has no point as there are no features to go with the map and I don't believe it remembers the map so I don't think the map is all that helpful not like with the high-end bot. The app is nice though for other settings such as manual control and suction speeds of your bot. Cons Battery: It has a big dust bin but the battery could be better. If I used this downstairs I am not sure it could get through cleaning without recharging so as nice as the big dust bin is the smaller battery kind of stinks. Dock: My E20 struggles to get back to the dock some times I have found it just roaming around a few times or it just gives up and stops. Not a big deal but my S5 has no issues going back to the dock. Overall this is a great little cleaner and is great for my upstairs where I don't worry about it going places I don't want it to and its a small enough space it can get through a cleaning on a single charge a bigger space it would struggle. People complain some that it does not do well on carpet but if you turn on carpet mode which puts it in the high suction mode when it senses carpet I think it does quite well. All robotic cleaners struggle to get carpets really clean but I still think they do a good job. If you don't have the money for the S5 or want a 2nd bot for a simple floorplan this is a good buy. It cleans very well and the large dust bin is nice. If you want a bot that you can keep out of rooms or set it to clean just one room at a time then save up for the S5. You can buy boundary tape for the E20 but the in-app no go of the S5 is awesome. If you have a big house I would go with the S5 due to the bigger battery. But this bot is cheaper and has some of the features of the higher end model so you will likely still be happy with it.

Awesome upgrade from the S9 and M6 machines.
I have owned an iRobot S9 and its side-kick the iRobot Brava Jet M6 for over 5 years. This Roborock Saros Z70 replaces them both and does MUCH BETTER work. I've only had it a few days so I don't know about reliability, but so far it has been working awesome. This is a BIG upgrade from the S9 and M6! The app is much easier to use than the iRobot app. The Z70 auto-scanned the rooms and had them mapped within minutes. No bumping into things to map, it just looked around. I then updated the map by dividing it into rooms and naming them so I can clean one at a time. Easy. After the first cleanings I tweaked the map to get the room dividers just right. It was so cool watching the Z70 find its way around without bumping into things or getting confused! Super cool that now I can send it in to clean an un-tidy room because it will see and work around random things on the floor instead of just trying to eat them and jam. I put a slipper in the way just to watch the little arm come out, pick it up, and put it away. Per Roborock it currently will only pick up a slipper, a sock, or a ball of paper but they say soon it will pick up more kinds of things. Cool to watch its little mop swing out to wipe exactly up to the edges and swing up out of the way when on carpet or a rug. Way cool that it washes its own little mops when done, and dries them too! The dirty water tank on the base showed that the mops were really cleaning, not just smearing on shine for show. Cool that I don't have to fill the mop fluid, it just fills itself at the base before going out and adds the shine fluid too. I got the official Roborock floor cleaning solution in the 16 oz bottle. The base tank for the fluid held the entire 16 oz so it was dump in, toss the bottle, done. This machine is very quiet. It turns up the vacuum power some when on rugs but still not nearly as noisy as the S9 was. It would be awesome if an American company created this, but the Chinese have sure done a great job on it. I asked Grok about security and he said all the right things regarding that. He said the info about my home is kept on-board the machine, not sent to the cloud unless I choose to place it in the cloud. He said the right things about encryption and such stuff. Sorry to hear iRobot announced bankruptcy. Hearing that is what prompted me to get this. Having the Z70 makes me understand why - iRobot was probably not going to be able to compete against this.

Not ready for prime time
The Roborock Saros Z70 sounds impressive on paper, but in practice it’s not ready for prime time. The OmniGrip arm is more frustrating than helpful. It failed to pick up numerous items, got stuck trying, and drained the battery until the robot was completely dead. I literally had to pry a sock out of its cold, robotic claw. The vacuuming performance is actually worse than earlier Roborock models, and cleaning the unit afterward is even more of a hassle. The mopping feature is even more disappointing—it basically drags dirt around instead of doing any real cleaning. There are a few positives. The shorter height is a big win, finally letting it get under furniture where other robot vacuums couldn’t reach. Obstacle avoidance is excellent, and the base unit works well (though it’s pretty loud when drying or sucking up debris). The ability to snap pictures of your pets is funny, though it’ll likely scare them before you get a cute photo. The app, however, is the true star—probably the best in the business for robot vacuums. Voice control isn’t very useful unless you’re immobile, since it’s much easier just to use the app. As for the OmniGrip arm, I wish they had spent more time refining it instead of rushing it out as a gimmick. Overall, this product is overpriced for what it delivers. Unless you’re buying it just for the app and obstacle avoidance, I wouldn’t recommend it.

So worth it
We absolutely love this robot vacuum and mop. This is actually our third Roborock because we’ve upgraded twice over the years and now have one on each level of our house. This model has been perfect for our main level where there’s constant traffic, kids, crumbs, dog hair, and random daily messes. The vacuuming and mopping performance are both great, and it does a really good job navigating around everything without constantly getting stuck. The robot arm is honestly so cool and the kids are obsessed with watching it work. We jokingly named her D3 for Mrs. Doubtfire #3 It’s definitely expensive, but for us it has made keeping the house clean so much easier. After almost a year with it, I’d absolutely buy it again and look forward to the next model.

Amazing Vacuum - Highly Recommended
This vacuum is an amazing beast. If you have open straight-lines with no objects in between two walls, it speeds through those areas very efficiently and in the optimum manner. It dances around objects and obstacles and goes around them to clean. It is fascinating to watch it while it does its job in rather crowded obstructed spaces. I was greatly impressed by its ability to wiggle itself in tiny spaces to clean those areas, and then come out unscathed (that, I thought, wasn't possible for a mere machine!). I had some issues in making the Android App work but support team from Roborock responded in minutes and offering to set up a private call for support (see Q&A on how to set up Mobile App & Wi-Fi Password on the Unit). 5 stars to them. What else can you expect from a few hundred dollar machine? What I like about this vacuum are: - Excellent Cleaning Power Both on Floor and Carpets - Automatic Powerboost Mode on Carpet - Very low noise that is barely noticeable. Excellent here too. - Power and Resume Feature to cover bigger areas in a large house - Cleans and Docks perfectly (most of the times) - Mop attachment (that I have yet to use). Versatility! - Very Easy to Operate and Clean - Extra accessories supplied (filter and cleaner brushes). Very thoughtful. Awesome! - Mobile App that builds and shows the map of the area cleaned. Superb. - Covers big cleaning areas without any problem. Great Battery life! - Voice Prompts & push notifications when starts cleaning and ends cleaning I don't know about reliability part yet, but feature and performance wise this an excellent machine. Cons and Improvements Needed Of course, this is not perfect by all means. This being a mid price model, there are certain missing features that you need to be aware of. - Battery life is enough for about 1000-1200 sq feet floor, but unit needs recharging for larger floor areas or carpeted area where it spends a lot more energy with carpet boost. It does mostly return back from the base to re-do remaining area, but the behavior I found is not consistent specially if for some reason unit failed to return to the base and lost the map or sensors were not clean etc. If you have a lot more area to handle, you may like to buy a vacuum with a larger battery or one which is more modern camera imaging. - The unit like all other vacuums will not vacuum dark black or very dark colored carpets or carpets with dark blue or black borders. This is because sensors interpret non-reflection of light as "stairs" to avoid falling. I wish there was a way to disable those sensors when it is ground level and then warn before starting the robot. - Mopping Feature is hard to use if you have a mixed floor with lots of rugs. Since there is no way to stop it from mopping on rugs without attaching magnetic boundary line markers to stop it going on those areas. - Mobile App is good for starting and stopping the vacuum, seeing the areas covered in map, and getting alerts. I wish there was a way to create virtual boundaries and restrict to certain area of the floor only. Only way to do that is by putting obstacles or magnetic tapes to block is from going to certain areas. If you need these features, you may be better of with the higher model. I would definitely recommend it. Just buy it and you will be happy.

$2,000 Vacuum Died in 3 Months
We upgraded to this Roborock model after loving our previous one, expecting even stronger mopping performance for our tile floors. Initially, it worked beautifully — powerful, quiet, and efficient. But after just 3 months, it stopped charging from the dock. We were away for two weeks, and when we returned, it was completely nonresponsive. Reaching out to customer service, I was told I’d need to ship this large, expensive machine back — preferably in the original packaging (which we no longer had after 3 months of successful use). They refused to send a replacement or offer an easier return method, citing a 30-day replacement policy. In the instructions I was told I would have to find appropriate shipping material and I’d have to handle that on my own — which is absurd for a $2,000+ machine. I’m disappointed not just by the failure of the product, but by the lack of flexible support. This is a premium-priced product — it should come with premium-level service. At minimum, they should offer a simple way to ship large items back when issues arise within the warranty window.

Roborock Saros Z7 vac and mop robot is the one to buy. It does it all!
The Roborock Saros Z70 robot vacuum and mop far exceeds my expectations. Firstly, the app is very user friendly and easy to set up and use, but does not work with Samsung phone so I downloaded it to my iPad and works perfectly. I love the Omnigrip arm. If you have children or pets this is a great feature. I have laminate flooring and some machine washable mats and the robot works well on both. This robot can be used with water only without their cleaning solution but I bought it and it will last a very long time. Tip: don’t use other brands of cleaning solution. It’s made just for this one and don’t use any home products because they can damage and corrode the robot and dock. With this robot there is very little manual maintenance required. The robot mostly self cleans after each use. The clean and dirty water tanks are on the top of the dock so you just lift them out to refill the clean water tank and empty the dirty water tank. Other maintenance is easy and simple such as lifting up the mop tray located at the bottom of the dock to wash it , dry off and replace it while the robot is cleaning rooms. You can also just lift the robot itself out of the dock to wash the tray. I only wash the tray after a month of use. Some homes might need to do that more often but it’s still a simple job. I’ve been using this robot for a month and almost daily and the dust bag is far from being full. It’s easy to remove and replace. The robot is quiet when it is working. It does such a great job, I don’t need to use my central vac anymore and I don’t need to physically wash the floors again. The robot does a thorough job of vacuuming and mopping. It is deemed number 1 in Canada right now. I can confidently recommend this and it’s worth the cost, every penny.

This is a neat unit, and always getting better.
From most Robot Vacs I have seen i think this one Sux's haha no really its not too bad, does a pretty good clean up considering what all robot vacs can do. I think the Arm is not gimack , it seems to do not to bad. it picks up some of the dogs toys to put in the bin and moves slippers and shoes, also picks up towels that are larger than it haha. stealing things off the bathroom floor I like making videos of it dragging these items to the drop point haha. There is new identification system where they are are starting to allow you to submit items which i believe they are training on. Mob job is not bad seems on part with most. love that it stretches the mop out like a leg to clean under things. the detection between carpet and hardwood is really good. it picks up the mops when transition. It also lifts its body up like a pimped up car on hydraulics to get over harder transitions. I have one transition it cant seem to do, there is a lot of features in the software for helping it know things and it identifies on a map where it sees dog crap and the likes which is neat... some pet toys get identified as such haha so it avoids the smear. I suspect its not perfect but its pretty good thus far. I recommend it, but wait until sale haha its expensive but best of the robots I have seen thus far.

Way better than my last one.
Our house is mostly wood and tile floors with a few area rugs. I'm retiring an 8 year old Neato Vacuum that worked every day in this large house. Was amazing while it lasted, with LIDAR navigation being superior in my view to optical vision only. But then we got a puppy and the Neato was lacking. Now I'm in love with the Saros Z70 in part because of the dog. Firstly let me get the cleaning out of the way. Despite having considerably less vacuum power the roller and vacuum picks up all of the dirt on the floor easily, and the mopping feature works way better than my iRobot mop. The mapping and scheduling of the house was fast and simple and it's excellent in this regard. As for the puppy? The visual navigation and obstacle avoidance is spectacular since the dog is always leaving stuff everywhere. The robotic arm? It works sometimes and not other times because frankly it's new technology. But I love to support this sort of forward thinking because, after all don't we all want a robot that can clean up our mess? in my books when it works it's a bonus and I'm hoping as the software evolves the arm will get better. But for sure I would recommend this.

Water marks on ceramic floor after cleaning
Install was easy and the robot works well. The only thing I am not happy with us the accessaries. The is no included bottle of cleaning soap and no extra dustbags, mops and brushes. Without soap I have to order it before I can use the product! And to my surprise, there isn't a suitable soap product available from the app for this model! The mop that comes with the product has very course fiber and it leaves marks on the floor after cleaning. This is terrible.
