New Wave Swim Buoy - Swimming Tow Float and Drybag for Open Water Swimmers and Triathletes - Light and Visible Float for Safe Training and Racing

I couldn't imagine it's so great! After divorce I don't have a company to go for a daily swim when it's hot weather outside so I had to find the way to hide my phone and car key during swim. Since I swim usually around 30-40 min it's enough for all the belongings to be stolen.First I was skeptic that compartment will get wet so I put both my phone and key into separate dry bags. After first swim even bags were completely dry! The buoy also helped me to swim much further than planned because I could catch my breath while holding on it and continue swimming further. All in all it's the best device I could wish for for lonely swimmers without private lakes. Only one improvement I'd like to see in next versions - adjustable buoy strap which could let me keep the buoy further from me than it's now.Pros:- Easy to use- Small enough to pack- Dry compartment works better than expected- Visible from afar- Buoyancy is good enough for 80kg male to float- Materials feels high qualityCons:- The connecting strap could be adjustable - it was constantly bumping into me while swimming

While the colours are fantastic, and this would make a great tow float for visibility alone, as a dry bag, it is lacking. Once you inflate the buoy, there is virtually no room to store items and - for me - this was the purpose of buying this item. I put in keys and a small mirco-fibre towel: they looked as though they were going to burst out of the side. Also, rather than a separate, sealed inner compartment, the 'dry' bag component relies on simply rolling down the top of the bag a few times - this does not ensure complete lack of moisture, which is a huge disappointment.

I bought this as I have just started open water swimming. The float is OK, albeit, it wont keep your things perfectly dry. It does let in a little water as it doesn't fold enough to make it air tight. You would have to put your belongings in an airtight bag.The phone case on the other hand is utterly rubbish. I have used it once and it has split the length of the case. I would definitely not recommend buying the phone case as it is a complete and utter waste of money.

The dry compartment is not water tight - the roll top does not roll enough times to make it water tight. I bought another buoy at the same time, and its dry compartment is much better. I want to carry a phone and car keys with electronics and I cannot be confident in this buoy's ability to keep these vital items dry without having to add more bags inside.The air tube on this one is also less effective than the other brand; this one does not have a non-return valve so you have to do gymnastics with your tongue to prevent air escape as you close up the tube.Visibility is good but the other brand is a bigger buoy (which simply makes it easier to see).

This is my second one. Well made allows you to go swimming on your own and gives you a sense of security that you can float if you get a cramp. Nice and visible too. Allows you to take stuff with you like phone keys wallet etc rather than leaving stuff on land while swimming.

It's great as a buoy to be visible in open water. But the storage compartment is not great - it lets in a small amount of water, so there is no way I would keep a phone in there. Even my car keys I wrap in a separate sealed plastic bag before I put it in the compartment. Basically the storage compartment is just 'sealed' by folding over the end of the bag, so it's not as if it is a proper seal. The actual storage space really is limited - I wouldn't fit more than my glasses and car keys in it.

I am happy with the New Wave swim buoy. For beginner swimmers who want to swim in open water, its a good choice. The buoy also has a water proof mobile case. First, I got a defective buoy but the customer rep was so helpful. He not only refunded money but immediately sent me a new one free of cost. I was surprised and am thankful for being helped out so quickly. I totally recommend New Wave Swim Buoy :)

Just used in my first open water output this summer and it was a great experience. good size, excellent visibility and useful space to keep dry some items... great Buoy!

Leaked and dragged until I folded the edge over as many times as possible, then much better, still not perfect .Would not trust it to keep clothing dry.

da ich von mir behaupte, dass ich schwimmen kann und eigentlich auch nicht auf einen wettbewerb trainiere, dachte ich zuerst, dass ich dieses produkt nicht brauche. mein mann hat sich diese boje aber gekauft und ich habe sofort gesehen, dass ich sie auch haben muss. zuerst nur, weil ich sie super praktisch finde, sie als kopfpolster zu verwenden; dann weil ich schon immer einen trockenbeutel haben wollte. aber da es ja eine boje ist, musste der schwimmtest auch gemacht werden. und ich war höchst überrascht. schwimmen im see macht die boje einfach angenehmer. auch wenn man kein triathlet werden möchte, ist die boje super. einfach genial, welche sicherheit ich durch diese boje bekommen habe. man kann sich ausrasten oder aber eben einfach nur schwimmen und weiß, dass man nicht gleich übersehen wird - von booten sups kajaks... also eine klare kaufempfehlung.

I planned to use this for open water swims at the cottage lake so that I'd have something to cling to in case i got fatigued.To inflate the buoy there is a little nozzle to blow air in and then turn the nozzle to shut the valve and keep the air in. Mine worked flawlessly.I didn't realize that it had a storage pocket for putting in your id or keys if you are swimming at a public beach. there's a smaller zip-lock to put into the storage pocket in the buoy.That's pretty handy.You basically fold the end a few times then snap the clips together to secure the storage compartment.

schwache Verarbeitung bei dem Falz zum Umschlagen, eine Verstärkung dort würde genügen die Dichtigkeit zu erhöhen.So entweicht selbst bei sorgfältigem 5 fachen Umschlagen (Empohlen wird 4 bis 5 mal, mehr geht auch nicht) ein steter Strom an Luftblasen auf beiden Seiten des Verschlusses beim vom Hersteller selbst empfohlenen unter Wasser halten vor jedem Gebrauch.Feuchtigkeitseintritt bei diesen Preis finde ich nicht akzeptabel.

I bought it over a month ago and I just had my first practical use of it in my recent snorkeling trip. It works great and no leaking problem. I even use it as a pillow when lying on beach. Unfortunately, the storage compartment cannot keep small items inside even I buckled up the two straps. My small items floated / fell out as I almost lost my sunglasses and small bottles of suntan lotion.Product needs improvement by adding either zipper or or snap-on buttons to keep the storage compartment closed.

I haven’t used or tested this product yet since I just received it, but I’m impressed with how easy it is to inflate (4 regular breaths). Also, I don’t remember there being anything in the description about a waterproof photne case coming with this item, which I was kinda bummed about and I was going to purchase the Mpow ones separately. I was so happy when I saw the case! I’ll test these items soon and update my review if necessary.

I have not used this yet but I got it for snorkeling. I prefer this over getting a snorkel flag. It's good quality. Looking forward to using it.Edited...After using this bag quite a few times it floats great and is visible to boats so I feel safe enough out there snorkeling but the bag leaks. I would not put anything in it that will be damaged by water.

Wir nutzen die Boje, wenn wir mit unserem Sohn im See schwimmen. Funktioniert wie beschrieben. Da wir die große Boje haben, werde ich sie bei der nächsten Seedurchquerung mitnehmen.Keine 5 Punkte, weil ich noch nicht absehen kann, wie langlebig sie ist: 4++

The only negative point is that a little bit of water somehow got in to the storage pocket. Not a large amount of it, but still some trickled through. Other than that, if you are not planning on putting anything there, it's good.

Used for Triathlon training in open water.A good floating buoy with a dry interior.Had a few drops of water inside both times I used it..but kept everything pretty dry!The customer service from new wave swim buoy was amazing when I had a little issue.They Definitely care about making sure your happy with your product!Highly recommend!

Just as advertised this is a well made, easy to use safety device with a convenient waterproof pouch. I towed it on an open water swim last week and would never have known it was there. Recommended.

Used it on a variety of trips ... good size to store stuff while swimming, all items inside were kept try ... and in an emergency it acts as a buoy!

I love the security that this product gives me. I am an open water swimmer who swims alone in deep water. This product gives me and my wife the benefit of knowing that should I have a problem when swimming I can use the float until I can get to shore or get help

I use this for open water swimming. I need visibility, especially as I am swimming in autumn and people are unlikely to look for swimmers. It is just perfect! Totally visible and comforting to have with me. I put my cell phone in it and that was super!

Diese Schwimm Hilfe wird um die Hüfte geklemmt. Behindert auf keinen Fall das Schwimmen und im Notfall ist diese schnell unter die Arme genommen und man kann sich ausruhen. Einfach genial.
