DO NOT BUY IT It keeps refreshing the screen in the middle of the night, even when the monitor is on the night mode. It he scree is on and off constantly for no reason. I do not recommend buying it. BTW - the phone provided is never available and they never answer the emails. So, the customer support does not work at all unless you pay the 2 years warranty.

I recently purchased the ieGeek Baby Monitor with 2K HD Resolution, and it has truly been a game-changer for our family. I've purchased ieGeek's products in the past and they always meet my expectations - this baby monitor is no exception. They not only work seamlessly with their ecosystem of products, but they also don't require any expensive subscriptions to maintain. So ieGeek is usually my go-to for camera products. The camera needs to be connected but the screen is wireless and has a very long battery life (though I haven't had time to test its duration myself). Similarly, I didn't try out the "danger area" feature since I don't intend to use that feature, but the camera has a very wide field of view so it's easy to get an entire room in the picture. If a cute, straightforward baby monitor is what you're after, this device should meet your expectations! Note: the camera uses micro usb. I prefer usb-c but the camera comes with the needed wires and adapters so effectively renders this a moot point. It's ready to go out of the box and set up of the baby monitor to internet and phone took under 10 minutes.

10/10 recommend this camera! Multiple uses: I love this baby monitor because it allows for monitor usage on Wi-Fi or off Wi-Fi, as well as an app for phone monitoring. This is great for when I’m out of the house. Camera resolution and features: The resolution of the camera is excellent. It picks up crying and motion, with the former, allowing you to switch between sensitivity levels. (Low, medium, and high.) The field of view of the baby camera is also excellent, and is much more than I need for the stage we are in. In the future, I may use more of the many additional features it offers. Battery: We keep the monitor in standby mode and the battery lasts approximately 48 hours or so. This is not an issue as we just keep it plugged in or close to a charging unit. Support: I have reached out to support, as once the camera picked up the signal from another nearby home, and the support people were comforting, helpful, and affirming.
