After a lot of research I finally bought this water purifier. I considered it mainly because of its stainless steel tank that prohibits the mixing of purified and impure water also also prevents growth of algae which I had seen in my previous water purifier which had a plastic tank.What surprised me most was that it comes with a pre-filter within the box at no additional cost and also how fast the entire installation was completed. Within a day of purchase from here, the service technicians came and installed the purifier. I didn't have to call or follow-up with them, they called up to fix the appointment and everything took place smoothly.It has a striking design, and that was a keen consideration as I was moving to a new place with a new kitchen. The build is good, the outside is made up of glossy plastic. There is a separate outlet for water which you can use to clean fruits and vegetables, I found that really handy as I connected it with a tap for direct purified water output.This model also comes with a mineral booster which adds essential minerals to RO purified water. This is different from other purifiers which mix non-RO water with RO water to reach a particular TDS level safe for drinking. Not just this, the mineral booster also enhances the taste or water which was evident to everyone at home and people who visited us. They found a marked difference in taste compared to theirs.You can also easily see the level of water in the 8 litre tank using the smart level indicator up front and the second round LED tells you of the status of filteration. UV filtration takes place automatically every 6 hours or based on how you use the filter, at that time the LED glows blue and you should wait till it turns white. If it shows red, it means it is time to change the filter candled.I did like LG's service so far. They also told me that I will get 3 free services within the year, where the service technician will replace the pre-filter each time. But after the first year you would have to get an AMC from LG for a year which would cost around Rs. 6700, which is not cheap. The AMC would include 3 scheduled pre-filter changes and also all the purifier candles within the main unit. So this purifier needs to be serviced in every 4 months.Both the initial cost of the product and AMC are a bit on the higher side, but for now I am happy with the purchase as it fulfills the features I was looking for. I am using thi purifier for many years, product is noce but parts are not available in market, we have to buy it from LG only and they are selling it at very high cost (we can buy new purifier at that cost) and AMC has a different level of froud, when we buy an AMC they will not accept any complaint within first three months, so technically they are charging for 12 months and giving service for only 9 months. (If they can not provide service in first three months then starting date of AMC should be after three months on purchase).

In a year, this purifier is serviced by digital sterilization along with a pre filter change 3 times. These services are automatically generated by LG and thus we don’t need to bother booking any service visits.This is the one department where I personally feel LG could’ve made it more affordable since after investing a huge amount on the filter, it’s quite uneconomical to maintain it with such an AMC.=========Verdict:=========Overall, I am quite impressed with the Purifier as a whole and the best thing is we get 1st year’s 3 services free with brand’s warranty on purifier. Still before buying this I’ll suggest to consider AMC part first, although it’s not too much but for some it may affect their budget.P.S.
