Not "heavy".
It looks like a good product. I haven't used it because it is not as "heavy" as the band I've been using. It feels more like medium or less. I do wish there was a standard for exercise products.

I have purchased the gold bands, the silver bands, Blue tubing, green tubing and, black tubing. These are great for home gyms. You can make a fly machine with these and a 2x4 with eyebolts. Or you can get fancy and use some t-channel tubing or whatever. I love using these. They can be put away quickly and easily. They are ridiculously cheap. Especially compared to the cost of free-weights. You can isolate smaller smaller muscles like the top of your pectoral that connects to your clavicle. You can keep the muscle engaged for its entire range of movement. I frickin' love it.

Sorry product!
This product is NOT worth the $. I used bands in my class with 10/11 year olds and I had 3 bands pop and break! Do not buy this product as it cannot be returned and $ will not be refunded.

Be careful - this "color" tends to snap
I use these for physical therapy. The kit is long enough (a BIG roll) to slice up several links for different purposes. I tie one end in a knot, to grip, and for some exercises use a clamp to hook to a door-frame wedge (sold at several stores) for others. These bands do have a VERY annoying habit of snapping in two. I am not sure why. Other "colors" such as the blue, silver, green don't seem to do this. I have had 2 of this model snap while in use (right in the middle, not at the knots), under not particularly hard stress. After the first one popped (and that stung!) I checked the band every time. The second snap occurred after I inspected the band - no signs of wear or tear. Maybe it's just a defective batch, but the manufacturer needs to look at the quality control. Overall it's OK but could be safer to use.
