Sonoro Stereo2 Sound System (Matt Black)

Decided on this system as we liked the retro design and features. As this is a German built product you can quess that the guality of the finish and build is first class.From the moment you take delivery the guality of the packaging is apparent, it is packed in three boxes and encased in foam. You then unpack it and find the enclosed gloves to help with moving it.Once in situ it is so easy to set up wether you want to use the CD player or the excellent dab radio. The first thing you notice when playing anything is the amazing sound, the full base and guality of overall stereo fills the room.We spent a long time looking at all the different makes, weighing up pro's and con's.At the end it came down to the Ruark and the Sonora, with the Sonora winning due to its much better remote, and build guality and sound.Would highly recommend this product.

I bought one of these direct from Planet Gizmo in January 2014 and was pretty happy until two weeks ago when the CD player stopped working. When you load a CD it tries to read it but then says 'no disc'. A CD lens cleaner does nothing to help. I know it's out of warranty but I contacted Planet Gizmo to find where I can get it repaired but they are not interested. I then contacted Sonoro in German with the same question and they referred me to Planet Gizmo! I've teken it to two different electrical repairers that specialise in HiFi but they won't touch it as they can't get the parts. So I'm left with a £550 system that only lasted two and half years. I'm not very happy!
