It's hard to find a beautiful blue leather wax or cream, but Saphir's Iris Blue is a beautiful blue. Although it's called Iris Blue, it's not purple; it's a color similar to a 4:1 mix of cerulean blue and a touch of cobalt blue. It doesn't have any unpleasant petroleum-like smell. The blue leather case I use to hold my magnifying glasses has started to turn a little white, so I tried using this as a complementary color. When I applied it, it stained the leather just right. After waiting a while, wiping it off, and then polishing it, I got a subdued finish that retained the slightly matte, wet look of beeswax, unlike paraffin-based glass shine. [Additional Note] The lid opened too lightly and had a faint odor, so I started placing a piece of plastic wrap between the lid and the bottle.
