It ripped in less than 2 months

This cover is about as thick as a rain jacket. Doesn't even compare to other canvas tops that have come with my other boats. I took a risk and didn't listen to other reviews, and now I have to send it back. I really wanted to make this work, but couldn't. It fit my 14 ft. fishing boat very loosely.

The boat cover itself is very nice. Stores123, the seller in this case, should be avoided. The pictures shown all have a boat like mine, but the cover is for a rowboat, not something with a windshield. If you open the package you are screwed if it isn't the right cover and you tried to put it on the boat. It is considered used at this point and ineligible for return. And if you didn't take it out of the package YOU pay for shipping and then they inspect it and if it meets their approval then they'll refund your money minus a 15% restocking fee. I bought a cover based on the measurements and the pictures they had posted but that didn't matter to them. If I thought I could get away with it I would use much stronger language to express my displeasure. Get the cover, just not from stores 123.

Just got back from a trip to North Carolina, and this thing did not hold up well. I ordered mine (14' -16' L X 75" W) on May 3rd, 2014, and it has been used to store a 14' Deep V Aluminum fishing boat until this past week. After getting down there from Pennsylvania, I noticed around the back of my boat, the cover showed noticeable stress. I tried loosening it up, tightening it up, and all of the rough edges are covered with camp foam padding from Wally World, but nothing seemed to work. The idea was to keep water out of the boat while traveling, since the weather isn't always on your side traveling up and down the east coast. That being said, I tried to make it as slow and decent of a trip back up. To make a long story short, the entire back end of the cover is horrendous, and the bungee string inside has busted through the seams and now hangs outside of the cover. I'm going to contact Amazon and also the manufacturer about a replacement, because I've only had it for less than 2 months, and it hasn't held up to much in the way of weather/travel. Classic Accessories does have a 5 year warranty on it, and I will look into the replacement process. It does it's job of keeping water out of the boat, but that's about it, until it tears. Will update this review pending feedback from whoever replies and gives me a solution.
