I remember boldo as part of a multi-flavor box as a child and young adult visiting Chile. While I mostly remember the taste, I now realize that it has health benefits. The flavor is unique, herbal and floral.

Saying this tea is an acquired taste is much too simple. The taste is extremely bitter and it lingers for some time. But I simply feel super good afterward. I’m definitely not defending or endorsing any medicinal effects of this tea, but all I can say is that I feel amazing after drinking it, especially after a hearty meal. In sum, it works for me.

I got this as recommended for inflammation. I received the product yesterday and when I opened up my first package I was taken aback by the smell. Somewhat like tar IMHO, but actually brewing it, the taste was good, very soothing tea. Given that it was my first cup I cannot yet comment on whether it will address my seemingly systemic inflammation but I'm game for anything as I know it's a problem for my health.
