Finally, excellent longer fishing pliers for an excellent price and Made in USA. Pliers seem really well built and have all the misc notches to make them more than adequate "fish pliers".This product comes with a really nice leather hide sheath which also has a sturdy stainless steel buckle clip... yes, these pliers are worthy of their own leather sheath! In addition to the pliers, the fish gripper is also of solid construction and what would make them perfect is if it had a scale but it's really not that necessary. As far as fish grippers go, these are perfect and made well (perhaps other grippers with weight scales are lower quality due to having a scale built-in in the first place?).Lastly, there's also a set of nice grippy gloves for use when dealing with live fish on hooks. I (like most would) thought these were "package filler items" but honestly, even the gloves are pretty sweet for a simple set of dedicated fish gloves with a thick grip coating.Overall, this product along with the customer service and speed of the seller has been one of my favorite Amazon purchases in recent years. Sure they're just "pliers/fish tools" BUT... if you need a solid set of pliers/fish tools then this is the one to buy folks. Forget those colorful anodized "Aircraft Grade Aluminum" pliers you see for more: Those dont have rubbercoated grips... and these are all pliers meant for use in wet situations I should add... so all those "pretty pliers" are pretty useless for this purpose. Like I said, if you need quality fishing pliers, then order this set as the pliers/sheath alone are worth itBtw, they'll even sell you another 2nd set for HALF OFF! Shows that theyre going above and beyond when it comes to satisfying their customers. Received the fishing plier set on June 14 and have used these almost daily catching big fish and small fish on lake Champlain... these pliers alone are awesome and the sheath is good quality however the latch to go onto your belt broke within the first two weeks... the fish grip works good but when you have a 12+ fish, if the fish thrashes it can break free... these are good quality and I hope they last for a longtime...

Just unboxed my fishing set. Everything seems to be great quality. The most important thing for me is the tools have a nice rubber grip on them, I’m always concerned about my tools slipping out of my wet hands on the water, but I won’t have to worry about losing these. Also, the sheath for the pliers have a Velcro strap that keeps them secure so they won’t accidentally fall out, great addition. I was searching for a good set of pliers, this kit covers everything I needed and then some for a great price.

I just got mine and the gripper was damaged. 2 stars because I think the rubber is the only thing keeping the rope on.

This fishing plier set is pretty good. Very good quality. Leather case feels durable, the pliers have a little weight to them...not that cheap lightweight stuff. The gloves have a nice rubberized coating. I hate touching fish...That's why i bought this.
