Here is a very informative book that is well written for the 3-10 year olds. Camden is going to work with his parents. The story is very interesting for the preschool little ones and also interesting for fifth graders who are writing a report. The illustrations are crisp enough to see the equipment with ease. I highly recommend this great book for the joy it will bring the kids and give them a new occupation to think about. Camden was going to work with his mother 👩‍⚕ and father 👱. They were both Nurse Anesthetist. They went into the operating room and he saw all the big buttons. No need to count sheep in here. Where does he go next? You will get to see it all. There is a glossary of terms in the back.

The whole process of anesthesia from pre-op to recovery is explained quite simply so kids can understand. This book is great for kids who may be having surgery or kids who are thinking of going into medicine or even just kids with a curiosity about what goes in hospitals. Now for a book about how to do an appendectomy.

This was a great gift for my kids. Not for lack of effort, they always understood what mommy does, but not really what I do. This was special to them because it made it fun to learn about something they care about, and it invoked some interest as well.

I already purchased this book for myself last year. However, I now have a nephew on the way, and I could not think of a better book to buy him for his book collection. I'm so excited to read this book to him and start educating him early about our amazing profession! This book has taken on an even more special meaning now that I will get to read it to him. This book couldn’t be more spot on about what it’s like to be a CRNA! My 3.5 year old daughter asks me to read this to her all the time.My only suggestion is to go into detail about what happens when insufflation is turned on and off ;) Just playing!Thank you for the great book!

This is a great book for kids to see , educate and learn about the CRNA profession. It also is spot on on the descriptions of a CRNA’s day and I like the rhyming.

Great book for little ones to see what I do.

I am a CRNA and I just received my order today and read it right away to my boys. After reading it to them, they’re response was “Cool!”Wish it were that easy to bring my kids to bring your kid to work day — since we can’t usually participate in this fun day, this book provides a nice introduction/explanation to our kids about what we do daily. Thank you for writing such a great book!
