Q: How long are the poles when collapsed down? I travel a lot and want to know if I can fit this kit in my suitcase.

I am Guessing but would say around a yard

Q: Can you leave the poles set up and take the net down so it doesn't have to be up all the time? Want to have easy set up and tear down...

Actually I dont think it will makes the set up easier... u still needs to run the whole set up procedure next time

Q: Are the anchors really enough to keep this net standing up and stable in the sand, at a windy beach?

I regret buying this portable. The system typically stays up, but the net tends to sag over time, so if the ball is hit into it hard enough or if someone touches net hard enough, it will come down. The components are all flimsy & cheaply made, thin ropes to tighten the net don’t stay tight, the frisbee plates that come with it broke after a couple uses, the metal hooks on the poles are bent & the bottom stands are crappy. The bag is very cheaply made & also tore after 2 uses. I had to buy a more sturdy Park & Sun bag. I’d spend a tad more & get the Park & Sun or Cobra set
