Emergency Sleeping Bag

I tried this out IN MINUS 60 DEGREE FAH. It really worked. I live in the North woods it was during this -60 F Polar Vortex we just came through 2019. I stepped outside wearing only sweat pants and a light long sleeved shirt. I pulled the survival sleep bag over me and I was very comfortable, warm actually, not cold at all and could have stood outside in minus 60 F for hours. I EXPERIENCED NO COLD AT ALL AND WOULD HAVE SURVIVED IN COMFORT. It is a big sleeping bag so it was roomy. One thing however is that it needed to be draped over me, so I was like standing inside a small orange tent where the material was not touching my body, and I was wonderfully comfortably warm, however If I pulled the bag around my body as you would wrap yourself in a towel, it was like wrapping myself in ice cubes and it was unbearably cold, so the minus 60 degree was really affecting the bag on the outside and it transferred that cold to my body, but then I just let it fall around me again and it was back to being warm and comfortable. I believe if you put this on yourself and then put a coat over it you would be just fine and warm. As a matter of fact I have to say that I was warmer with the sleep bag draped over me than I was when I went outside earlier in the day in that -60 degrees wearing a winter coat. I think the bag is great, and having tested out the bag the way I did, proved to me without a doubt that it really does work, and a person could survive such extreme conditions using the survival bag with just simply wearing their clothes and no coat hat or gloves. This is a great survival item and a must have.

I was so impressed with this item that I ordered a second one straight away for use in my travel bag .. as I have been stranded at airports on a number of occasions due to flight cancelations I though this would come in handy, I also keep a survival pack ready at home and plan to order 3 more so that every one in the family will have one in case of an emergency like a power outage. I am very pleased with Delmera Emergency Survival Sleeping Bag, Lightweight Waterproof Thermal Emergency Blanket. It is small enough to be put in my glove-box, where I can get to it if I have car trouble or an accident in the winter. I will be ordering this product again, to use as gifts for my family.

I bought this to carry with backcountry. I have not had to use it yet thankfully. It does pack very small and it very light. I highly recommend!

Got this to keep in the vehicle for the winter in case I'm traveling and break down. It is certainly compact and light enough, but hope I never have to try it to see about the durability and versatility.

As with most people that buy this, haven’t used it may never use it, hence the four and not five stars. But it was light and didn’t take up much room in my go bag.

Get one. Up in mammoth and stuck in the snow/rain while camping. Saved our butt as it repelled the rain away from our clothing. You simply turn it upside down and cut a whole for your head and arms. Works better than a poncho as it keeps the warmth in.
