50 Polythene Plastic Bags 450x600mm, 18" x 24" 120 Gauge, 30 Micron

Arrived fast and packed well.For short term use or with contents and then used to store inside other bags these plastic bags are ok. Size is as described.For use as everyday handling, rummaging through or holding anything with sharp edges the plastic is likely tear they are not strong enough. They are just not sturdy enough for my purpose,I bought the bags to store balls of hand-knitting yarn thus keeping the colours and different dyelots separate from each other.This works fine when the filled bags are put inside a larger stronger bag or box but grabbing hold of one bag inside the bigger bag my finger tips (no long finger nails) punctured the inner bag.I know the description tells people the gauge and the micron details but it is hard to know what you can use each strength for.Fine for one-off use when packing your suitcase but I would not use one for carrying heavy or sharp edged items in.I give 5 stars because it was my proposed use that caused disappointment in the purchase not the bags themselves.
