Oh my wife loved it. I think it has great built in speakers and great cameras (no auto AI enhancements at the camera app - pure image) other than that it had the latest chip as it is a flagship. It feels premium in hand imo, and we bought the 256gb one but they sent us a 512gb one! So that was really kind of theirs, I thank the people whomever they are. But I don't think this specific Sony phone deserves a whopping £1000+, that's all I'm saying. It's not that I don't like the phone or anything but even iPhone pro max elite diamond plus fancy thingy doesn't cost that much and they are probably better idk

This is an excellent phone when compared with other manufacturers phones. This replaces my old Sony phone. They make top of the range electronic products. We have two Sony TVs which provide perfect picture quality, which are totally reliable as are phones. Ok

I love Sony products and wanted this phone but waited until they were released after the recall of faulty phones, but unfortunately Amazon sold me an old faulty one that kept turning off especially when charging, wasn't happy about spending £1400 on a faulty phone and also not getting a charger including but apart from all that if I can get a working model I would still buy one

Yep, its everything I hope it would be and more with all its tech.

Purchase with extreme caution! First it is an amazing phone and for me the camera is a stand out. However, you are purchasing it at a risk when not purchasing through the Sony site. As other reviewers mentioned there is a recall on this phone due to power issues. I was hit with it when the phone suddenly died and will not turn back on. I purchased it here and so Sony is stating it is a non-eu model and so not under any warranty.. Phone is going in to Sony for repair but I will have to front the costs which is wild on such an expensive 5 month old phone. Sony claims the issue is generally resolved but I would still be cautious. If you are going to buy it here I would 100% advise getting a secondary warranty and insurance that covers power issues. Maybe I missed the fine print.. but buyers beware.

I discovered, the day after purchase, that the phone is subject to a replacement program because of manufacturing issues. Search Google for "Xperia 1 VII Smartphone Power Issues - Free Replacement Programme Announcement" to find this. I am thus left with a phone that is highly likely to "brick" in the next month or so (other users have reported this). I recommend not purchasing this phone until Sony have found all the defective phones, and Amazon are sure they are not selling a defective phone. They can know by IMEI number. I deliberately purchased from Amazon to avoid quality-control problems like this, but no luck for me. The phone itself works so far. It's a great device. Bit annoyed that the wide-angle camera is not as good as Samsung's, and there's no wifi sharing. But the sound quality is amazing, and the phone is very fast. Battery seems great, is it value for £1400? No. Clearly not given the replacement programme means I won't see it for a while (how long, even Sony cannot answer).

Great phone! Got all the features that I need without any "cool gimmicks". It looks awesome with premium feel like a SONY product should be. The pictures looks real natural not over processed. Great macro zoom but a bit difficult without a tripod to get a sharp picture. Super happy I got one, Xperia is way underrated.

Sony è il miglior brand, il prezzo di questo smartphone è elevato ma questo dispositivo è veramente all'avanguardia, il suono, la fotocamera, lo schermo e la batteria... Tutto eccellente. L'unica cosa che mi ha lasciato un po' stranito è che pensavo di aver ordinato il modello Europeo (XQ-FS54) e invece ho ricevuto il modello globale (XQ-FS72) che non presenta il marchio CE e non ha la predisposizione all eSIM.

Je mets 5 étoiles car très bon produit, fait de superbes photos,le son est très bon comme d'habitude,et avec le casque c'est top. Je mets un bémol car très déçue du packaging, pas de cordon et prise pour la recharge . Un téléphone à ce prix là je trouve ça exagéré....

The phone is amazing with great sound, camera and display which comes with Sony assurance. The phone is light, the 3.5 mm headphone jack and external sd card slot is the great feature. The dedicated camera shutter button is nostalgic.
