Wish it was slightly bigger. Barely fits 50A cords

Very effective, a little pricey for a piece of plastic.

I am giving this the highest marks right now because it seems to be just what is needed. I have to join a 40' and 30' generator cords in the middle of my yard. I want the plugs to stay dry and off the ground and this appears it will do the job. While it will need some ground hooks to keep from blowing off, it appears it is going to work well and is the only thing I found that holds larger generator cords. Will update if problems develop.

from the pictures it appeared to be able to close it but the bottom is all open as far as keeping the cords dry during rain I'll have to wait and see. Definitely isn't what I thought but I'll give it a chance.

Should work ok, but kind of flimsy, not sure how long they will last.

Used it to cover an RV extension cord.

This is just a simple cover and doesn't have a bottom or base, so it doesn't "seal" in any way. It's not waterproof or weatherproof and any excess rain, mud, snow and wind will likely find it's way inside. What it DOES do is keep your RV plug out of the sun and that was my primary reason for purchasing it. That being said, I would have much rather had an enclosed box that sealed out the weather against the elements, but it seems those just aren't available in a size large enough to accommodate a large 50-Amp male and female plug. I think it is a little pricey for what you get but, it's made in the USA and it does provide more protection than nothing. It also stays in place better than the inverted plastic bowl that I used to use.

Needed this for a 50 amp extension cord. Will not fit the 50amp cable in any of the slots, and will not fit 2 50amp plugs underneath the housing. 30 amp may work?
