Review: Buena compra Review: I bought the one that does not include the tube float because I don't want my child to be reliant on a tube, but more on himself. I started with level 1 when he was 1, level 2 when he turned 2 and now this is number 3 and he's 3. This is a good swim aid to learn actual skills. He has free movement of his arms, legs and he actually needs to tread water to stay above the water. The first day was a bit tricky, as he adjusted to having more support from level 2 to low support level 3. The second day, he was treading water. In a couple months I will slowly start removing the pads or depending on how quickly he develops better swim level. This will not keep your kid completely afloat, this will just give them a boost to keeping themselves up, which is what beginner swimmers need.

I liked this ok for my 18 month old. I am teaching her how to swim and for the most part this works ok for that purpose. What drives me crazy is that I can’t get it so it won’t push up into her face. You can only make the belt around their waist so tight and when they’re swimming it slides up and is right under her chin. I keep having to adjust it the whole time we’re in the pool. It drives me crazy. I wouldn’t recommend there are better options out there.

If your child knows the basic they will be fine. My daughter is 22 months getting up was a little difficult but nothing we couldn't handle

I previously gave this product a review of a 4 and feel like I need to come back and give it a better rating. I’ve now gave it a five. At first my grandson seemed to fall to the right or left with this on in the pool and even thought it kind of keep him up, he did not know how to kick and hold himself up straight. After using it for two months, it is now working wonderfully. He is a small 18 month old now around 20 lbs. I would recommend this as a great first flotation device when they are too small for water wings.
