Worth the money!
Best set of headphones I've bought. Super comfortable and sound amazing. They do need breaking in which can take anything from a day to a week, but once broken in they're amazing. Come with a nicely long cable, which is perfect for use in my racing simulator.

Excellent headphones for music and gaming
I recently added the DT 770 Pro X (2025) to my small collection of headphones, consisting of the FiiO FT1, Sennheiser HD600, HD560S and DT 900 Pro X. I'm no audio expert and I'm not into EQ, so I like something that I can plug into my DAC/AMP (FiiO K7) and have it sound good right out the box. The DT 770 Pro X (2025) sound very detailed and have a great top end sparkle to them. The bass is just right for my tastes, with good presence, but not at the expense of the Mids. For me, the soundstage is bang on, not super close in your head, but not crazy wide either. I use these for music and gaming, and they excel at both (they make an incredible gaming headphone, as they pick up so much detail). They are very comfortable and light weight, easy wear for long sessions. At this price point, they are right up there with the FT1's (also amazing), but these just edge it for me, mainly due to that sparkly top end. Highly recommended.

Excellent clarity
Very good sturdy construction quality, sound quality is impeccable, massive step up over consumer tuned headphones. It will take some getting used to however the additional detail retrieval is worth it. Comfort is great though I get some minor pinching on the top of my head after a few hours. Main use is for high res music and gaming. 100% value for money.

Great headphones, very expensive compared to my Sony MDR7506 but not enough improvement.
I ordered these headphones to try to improve to the lower base response and slight raised high frequencies of my current favorites which that I have used for around 5 years. These are the Sony MDR-7506 and were around £85 when I purchased them, they produce and exceptionally detailed soundscape which sounds open and airy and the vocals are exceptional (you can understand why these are reputed to be the goto general studio headphones for around 20 years). The Bass is detailed and you can discriminate every note. However the very low bass is lacking a little depth, and the very high end is emphasised. For this is the reason I decided to look for new headphones that could improve on these areas and was prepared to increase my budget, if needed, to around £200. I eventually tried out Sennheiser HD 280 Pro, Yamaha MT5's, Adam H200, BeyerDynamics DT770 Pro 80 Ohm & DT770 Pro X 48 Ohm, before choosing the AKG K371 - see my reviews of each of these others, for my evaluation of their performance.. As to the BeyerDynamics DT770 Pro X- I found their overall design to be good quality. The padding supported the weight well and they were comfortable on your ears. However I did find the earcups slightly large and cumbersome, however the adjustment available allowed a comfortable fit to be achieved. I could have accepted this if the design had provided the audio improvements that I was seeking. These were 48 Ohm impedance and compatible with all my equipment, computer, HiFi, phone and portable player all coped ok. The straight 3m cable was removable anda good length and plug adaptor was good quality. The materials used were typical of consumer headphones and seem well made. You would not expect exotic materials at this price. However for me the whole purchase depended on the sonic performance - could they improve on the Sony MDR-7506, in the lower bass depth and high frequencies, without sacrificing the parts that were excellent? These DT770 Pro X, were significantly more expensive than my current headphones but did not give me sufficient improvement, considering their price, that I wanted. The overall sound was open and airy. It was very detailed and versatile, preforming well over the wide range of test tracks that I had chosen. They had an enhanced lower bass compared with the standard DT770 Pro and so closer to what I was looking for at the low end but the improvement was not as much as I was looking for and considering they cost over twice that of the Sony MDR 7506, I deemed them to be not worth the extra cost. Otherwise very similar performance to both the DT770 Pro and my Sony's. Good vocal balance, great detail, however the Sony still seemed to have something a little more special on some vocal performances. They had slightly more tamed high frequencies, but insufficient improvement to the low frequency performance. So overall very good headphones but much more costly than the Sony's and but still missing some of the upgrade qualities that I require. The 4 star rating really only reflects the price - otherwise they are very good overall.

So far so good...😁
Fantastic headphones superb quality super sound extremely comfy even over longer periods of use but my only gripe is there should be a short lead supplied as well as the longer lead in the box considering the price you pay instead of making customers pay additional money for the said shorter lead. Would I recommend yes absolutely. Only had them a short time but delighted with my purchase.

Fantastic new features over the DT 770 Pro
The DT 770 Pro X (non limited edition) is a fantastic pair of headphones for the price. The small upgrades over the standard DT 770 Pro, such as updated drivers and a detachable cable, makes this pair of headphones stand out over its predecessor. Sound quality is decently warm but always clear. Compared to the DT 770 80ohm Pro’s which I also owned, I prefer the sound on the Pro X’s. It is easier to drive with them being only 48ohm, allowing for significant sound even without an amp. I run these mostly for gaming and am able to easily hear footsteps at range and do not feel I miss out on any necessary sounds. Additionally, the cable that came with the headphones is high quality and the perfect length to run to my computer, being 3m long. The headphones have no built in volume control which is no issue if you’re running an amp or controlling from your PC. Overall a great pair of headphones that are perfect for listening to music, gaming and for voice calls.

He tenido brevemente los Sennheiser HD 599.

I picked up the DT 770 Pro X because I wanted a solid wired closed-back headphone for focused listening and general audio work. After spending time looking through user feedback, I’d say these are very good headphones overall, but they are not the kind that everyone will automatically love. The biggest plus for me is comfort. A lot of people mention that, and it seems true. The ear pads look soft, the fit seems good for long sessions, and these seem easy to wear for a long time without getting uncomfortable. The detachable cable is also a nice upgrade. It is one of those features that makes everyday use a lot easier and gives me a little more confidence about long-term durability. Sound quality seems strong, especially if I want detail and clarity. These appear to work well for music listening, recording, monitoring, editing, and even gaming. The closed-back design is also useful when I want decent isolation and less sound leakage. The main downside is the treble. This comes up often in consumer feedback. Some people like the extra detail and energy, but others find the highs a little sharp. So if I already know I am sensitive to brighter headphones, that is probably the main thing to think about before buying. These do not seem like a warm, laid-back headphone. They seem more precise and a bit more demanding. For practical use, I think they make the most sense for home studio work, desktop listening, editing, and any situation where I want wired headphones with isolation and a more serious sound. They seem less ideal for someone who wants wireless convenience, a built-in mic, or a more relaxed everyday tuning. Value for money looks pretty good to me. They are not cheap, but they do seem well made, comfortable, and built for long-term use. I would say they are worth it for the right buyer, especially if the goal is a durable closed-back headphone for focused listening rather than just casual background use. Pros Very comfortable Clear, detailed sound Good isolation for a closed-back model Detachable cable is useful Good for recording, editing, and focused listening Cons Treble may be too bright for some people Not a warm or easygoing sound Better for specific uses than general casual use Overall, I think this is a strong product with real practical value, but only if I actually want this kind of sound and use case.
