These are great needles. You can put a short needle one on one side of cord and long one on the other of your cord to help you keep track of right and wrong sides of your work. Little compact same great chicagoo quality. The cases allow you keep everything with you in a slim compact organized manor. They are made from nice fabric's and your needle slots are marked with size nformation asxwell as etched on the needle. The interchangeable sets come with a needle gage that fits right in the zipper pocket. I love all my interchangeable sets and have several different ones 5" i, 4", shorties both small and large and I just ordered the mini 4" set too.. Allowing you to×5 be ready to knit whatever you fancy without having to wait for deliveries. You can also purchase longer clear cords for every set. You can not beat Chiagoo cords. The wires in the cords keep them unkinked so they never hit you in the face, they don't have a memory so when you take them out of your case they are ready to use. You don't have to put them in hot water to use them. They now make the bamboo needle clear cords that don't have wires in them but have a spinning ferrel and are now made for all sizes and can be to used with the lace interchangable sets that spin and move with you when you work. You can now purchase them to use with all needle sets lengths and sizes both small and large lace tips. Check package for details. All Chiagoo needle sets have perfect joins so you will not catch any of your speciality yarns on them. No more fear of frayed materials so your projects are kept in perfect shape while you work. I was not sure I would like interchangeable circular needles in 2" & 3" lengths. I own several 9" (tip to tip measurement) fixed circular needles with the needle part measuring about 1.5" and while I do use those for sleeves (I despise double pointed needles and am not fond of magic loop knitting) I can only sort of tolerate the tiny fixed needles for short stints without serious hand cramps. The 2" needles in this set are still a bit awkward to get used to but they don't cause my hands to cramp like the fixed length needles do. In compromise I use a 2" needle on my left and a 3" needle on my right - I find that quite comfortable and can knit in small diameter for hours, no cramps. These needles are shockingly heavy considering how short & thin they are but its because they are solid stainless steel (larger diameter sizes are hollow stainless steel and therefore lighter) to ensure they don't bend/break while knitting complicated stitches. These are solid - in all the good ways. The needles stay screwed on - just be sure to tighten with the provided pin. Cables are fabulous, a mini version of regular red lace cables. I should say that my hands are small and I normally knit with a 4" needle interchangeable set (most sets are 5") so the 3" needles for me aren't much of a change - I think if I could have just bought a full set of just 3" needles I'd have done that but no one makes those (yet. ....hint hint chiaogoo) Packaging isn't as fabulous as the big chiaogoo sets (the bags for the big sets are THE best carryall case I've come across) but its convenient and keeps this little set tidy & organized - with anything this small - tidy & organized is absolutely key to successful knitting - Tiny parts are too easy to lose. I was reticent to spend this much but I'm so happy I finally did. Life changing. Wonderful.

Great kit, reasonably priced for sock knitters! Large variety of sizes with different sized cables gives you lots of flexibility for the size yarn you use. I find some fingering weight yarns vary in thickness. Also has great zip pouch to keep it all tidy and neat. I have a sock knitting zipper case that I keep my sock knitting items in and this hardly takes up any room! Great gift for yourself or a knitter in your life!

I love Chiaogoo interchangeable needles. This is my third set. I bought the short small set for sweater sleeves and the seamless sleeves turned out beautiful, so I bought the minis for socks. I like to start socks using the double loop method, so I thought I would need to get a long cable. The set comes with three very short cables and two cable connectors, so I connected them together. This still looked very short, but since the cable is so flexible and the needle points are shorter, I had no trouble making a double loop and working with it. If you plan to use this set like I am, I suggest that you try connecting the cables together before you buy a long cable. I ordered a long mini cable. When I received it, it was marked mini, but was actually a small.

After years of knitting witH straight needles I am a convert. Small projects are very portable, you don’t have to worry about losing dpns. Bought the full set of larger needles last year, did tons of research to find the best for me and so happy with ChiaoGoo. Cables are real flexible, my cat can’t chew through them and interchangeable tips is the way to go. It is a delight to work with quality tools. This set here has very short needles, I’m still practicing and my stitches seem looser and I’m still figuring out how to hold them especially the 2” ones. My hands cramp up sometime and I think it’s because I still have a bit of a death grip on them. It’s only been a couple of weeks and it’s getting better already. Note that the cables are ‘mini’, a different size than either the small or large cables for the bigger gauge needles.

Excellent matériel

Ein ganz wunderbares Set zum Socken stricken. Für mich sind genau die richtigen Größen enthalten und die Nadeln stricken sind super leicht und flüssig. Kein Faden bleibt am Übergang zwischen Nadel und Kabel hängen. Ich habe noch ein zweiten sehr kurzes Kabel dazu gekauft, um auch an zwei Socken gleichzeitig arbeiten zu können. Natürlich ist das Set nicht günstig, aber für mich eine sehr gute und lohnende Investition gewesen.

Item used for continuous knitting. Ideal for the purpose required in regard to size and usefulness.

Las agujas son perfectas. Es muy difícil encontrar en estos tamaños las agujas intercambiables y esta marca los tiene. Encontré la otra aguja. No venía en su lugar, pero la encontré y pido disculpas por no haber buscado bien. Gracias
