Best product I bought on Amazon
I broke my ankle in three places and had to have surgery...Long story short, after the removal of my cast, I had a lot of swelling and a lot of pain. I tried frozen bags of food and towels and plastic bags of ice. Then my P.T. told me about the Cryo Cuff. I searched Amazon and read all the reviews on just about all of the many different cold therapy devices. Finally, I decided to purchase the: Aircast Cryo/Cuff Cold Therapy: Ankle Cryo/Cuff with Non-Motorized (Gravity-Fed) Cooler. I have had instant relief!!!! I have been using this Aircast Cryo/Cuff day and night for the past eight weeks or more and now I have my swelling under control. I have had ZERO issues with this product. I just followed the directions and it was extremely easy to use. The only con I have is that the foil disc could have been a little bigger, but that caused no usage issues. The cuff fills and drains as advertised with ZERO leakage! This is by far one of the best products I have ever bought from Amazon.D. Coleman, Alabaster, AL.

This will help you so much!
After breaking my ankle, I went to PT and they used this after my workout. I went home and got rid of the ice packs in my freezer. My only complaint is, if you don’t tighten it enough it will leak. Just make sure you fill to the line indicated and empty all the water into your boot. Sit back and enjoy the pain relief. After 3 months of no weight on my foot this was a god send. I only wish I had discovered it earlier. Totally worth the money. Good luck to all that will need this. I am still using it after 2 weeks out of my walking boot. It feels so comforting at night when I get home!

Better Than Sandwich Bags
I've broken my leg.For the first two months I struggled with quart sandwich bags, icing my swollen leg and ankle. They'd fall off or leak inconveniently. The sandwich bags were only useful for spot treatment. This Aircast has eliminates all of my complaints with sandwich bags. The ice cold water is evenly distributed over the affected areas. The swelling is now under control. The only improvement for this product? Is if it could make it's own ice 😁Just buy it. You'll thank me.

Better than the Thousand dollar machines
This device is amazing! I had a very long incision peroneal replacement surgery. Icing is an absolute must after working out and therapy. This device is actually better than some of the multi-thousand dollar machines. It you elevate the insulated container as high above as you can, you can get higher amount of compression. Tip: Freeze some water bottles and insert them. I use Three. Two right in the front and one in the back. I add some crushed ice, add some cool water, let it set and freeze up a bit with the bottles to hold them in place, then over filled the device. Dropping the jug below the aircast allows the warmer water to drain, then I give the water time to get chilled from ice before raising jug above aircast. That can be done as many times as you need.

Awesome
Ever try to put ice on an ankle? Good luck! I rolled my ankle badly resulting in an Rx for physical therapy. At the end of the session the tech put this thing on me and by the time the cooling session was over, I had already ordered it on the Amazon phone app. Honestly, there is nothing close to this to apply effective ice therapy to an foot or ankle. I use is after tennis sessions now that I have recovered. It is simple in design and the cooler can be easily attached to other Aircast cryo devices. Got a sore foot or ankle? Just buy this and forget the baggies of ice and enjoy some cold therapy

The best way to ice down your ankle
This product is simply the BEST way to apply cold to your ankle for extended periods of time. The ankle boot provides cool relief to the top and sides of the foot, and completely surrounds the ankle and lower leg up to the shin. Velcro straps allow you to adjust the cuff for a perfect fit around the ankle and foot. The easy hose disconnect allows you to detatch from the cooler without drips while keeping ice water in the cuff -- giving you added mobility and comfort. The bottom of the cuff does not fill with water, allowing you to walk with the ankle boot on. (to apply cold to the bottom of the foot, see Aircast's foot cuff) Great for people who are prone to sprained ankles, sports injury, swollen or burning feet, or who have had ankle or foot surgery. Great product.

You need one of these!
This is perfect for icing down from surgery. I had foot surgery on Fri, put this on when I got home and its been on ever since, today is Thurs. You put water in the cooler container- add ice and stir until it gets very cold. Take the hose from the cooler attatch to the boot, open the valve and the icy water flows right in. Stays cold 3 to 6 hours. Once done, attach the hose again, open the valve and the water from the boot flows back into the cooler. If needed you add more ice. Simple, no mess and stays cold for hours. This one is non mechanical and about half the price but does the same job. You can purchase other attachments separately for lumbar, neck, hip, shoulder and knee. Great investment!!

I found this product to be beneficial to ice my ...
I found this product to be beneficial to ice my foot after my bunion surgery. The first cyro/cuff that I received started to leak after only 5 days. A replacement cuff was sent out in about 1 week. Although this was relatively quick, I had a swollen foot from my surgery and needed to ice my foot every couple hours to control pain and swelling, consequently, I had to resort to a bag of frozen peas to achieve the purpose until the replacement cuff arrived. It was not possible to use the leaky cuff as I wasn't supposed to get my bandage wet.

Does what it is supposed to, wonderful to be liberated from ice packs and elastic bandages.
My physiotherapist used one of these and I immediately wanted one to save all the messing around with cold packs and elastic bandages. This is many many times more convenient and I will actually do what the doctor told me and ice three times a day or more because this makes it very easy. Good product, and seems well made,

So worth it!
I had multiple fractures of my ankle + tib/fib. This has ankle cuff has helped beyond words with swelling and pain relief. It’s worth the extra spend here. I’m 8 months post op and still using it to manage swelling, I don’t know what I’d do without it. A life saver throughout rehab.
