SmiffysSmiffy's 1920s Coco Flapper

This is a fantastic, relatively inexpensive costume! It does run large, though: I'm a busty, strong, curvy girl (38DD, size 14/16 on top and 12 on the bottom; height 5'8" weight 175) and I mistakenly bought the Large size the first time around. It was rather loose and hung like a potato sack (not unlike authentic flapper dresses from the 20s!). I returned it and got a Medium sized dress and loved it. It fit well! The color is light pink and the dress is rather sheer (I wore black tights under it and you could see the black through the dress in bright light). I didn't have issues losing fringe (maybe 1 piece) or with how the fringe hung around the shoulders. I did lose one pearl off of a broach, but I super glued it back on. I have somewhat of a large head (hat size wise), but was able to wear the headband over a wig without difficulty. I especially loved that this costume is somewhat unique when compared to all the other flapper outfits available online or in party stores: it's more authentic and less hoochie mama than the sexy flapper outfits available everywhere :)

For the price, it was a great last-minute costume for a speakeasy-themed party. The fit was a little snug in the mid-section (I ordered a M), but it had some stretch, so it was fine (I think a L would've been hanging off me). As others have mentioned, the color is definitely more pink than peach, but that was fine. And quality-wise, it is fairly thin; but, nothing that couldn't be remedied w/a dress slip or full body suit underneath. A few of the tassels did fall off, but nothing to detract from the overall costume. The headband may need to be adjusted w/bobby pins (or elastic, if too big); and you'll need something to clip in the feather. But, easy to accessorize and glam up. Great value!

I bought this for my 10-yr old granddaughter for my Roaring 20s birthday party. I saw that is was pink, her favorite color and was somewhat reasonably priced. At first, I was thinking that it was going to be too grown-up for her considering it is a woman's dress. She is a bit chunky and I felt that I didn't have many options. But I was pleasantly surprised that it fit her perfectly and it was very aged appropriate for her as well. She was the rave and she looked adorable! I would highly recommend this dress to others.

I ordered a large and was shipped a medium. It fit but was tight so I opted not to wear it to the party. It is a really cute costume tho, and is more pink than peach as other reviewers have said. It seemed to be well made. The headband is kind of funky in that there is really no way to anchor the feather so that it will stay. It's going back as it is the wrong size, but if I need of a 20's costume in the future, I won't hesitate to order this one again and hope they ship the right size. The boa is not included so you really should buy one to go with it.

This was the best Halloween costume ever! I went with this because of the fringe and the fact that it wasn't form fitting. It hugged my butt nicely but not too tight, it was a great fit overall! Very comfortable, not hot to wear - I danced all night in this little number l) I love the fact that this costume came as a flapper set with the necklace, headband, cigarette holder and feather -very cute! And apparently even a little sexy as per the many comments I received throughout the night... ;) This costume is great value overall - LOVE it and hope to wear it again next year!!

I loveddd this costume and received tons of compliments! I did not give it five stars because I was missing my second feather and my cigarette stick was bent a tad. The sizing reviews helped because had I gotten a large, there would not have been time to change it. The medium fit perfectly...I am 5"6 179 and it fit perfect, and not tight. I am top and bottom heavy. I have included a mid motion photo...not too keen on exploiting full photos with a world of strangers...but you get the point ;)

I wore this in a Roaring 20’s Golf Invitational. Received soooo many compliments. Although not golf attire appropriate, it was incredibly comfortable. Great price, great quality, great appearance and my team mate and I won the best outfit prize. Hope to wear it again for a Halloween party or other event.

Got this dress for my Halloween costume this year. Obviously I haven't worn it out yet, but it fit great when I tried it on. I ordered size Large based on size chart. I normally wear size 14, and this fits perfectly. It' a good length too, which I was looking for because ones at Halloween stores were way too short. All accessories were included as stated in description, and the dress is super cute and classy looking. Definitively recommend for Halloween or a themed party!
