Student's Book: Student's Book / Essential skills for doctor-patient communication (Oxford English for Careers: Medicine 1)

As a part time English teacher I have found this book very useful. As it contains plenty of good and varied material you can skip whatever is not useful to your students. However (unless you are yourself a GP) as a teacher you will need the associated "Teacher's Resource Book." Although the listening scripts are in the back of the book to save your voice you will also need the associated "Class CD". Your students will need to be at least B1 level in my opinion, but if anyone has used it with A2 level feel free to disagree.I did not give the full 5 stars because I have only used a small portion of the book so far. That is no fault of the book just that my current student is already ready for her exam so she did not need to use it all. Although I found it useful one-to-one some of the activities need pairs of students.
