I've bought these pickers to collect rubbish from our village. I've not used them yet. But the magnetic claw is a good idea but will not attach to anything too heavy, I assume it will work with an empty drink can. The pickers seem fairly good quality for the money.

Little bit cheaply made but do the job and for the price actually very good quality for the price

They were very cheap, which is good. They are easy to use, which is good. They are light, which is excellent. They do however suffer from catastrophic failure when used for more than a short amount of time.I bought a couple and was impressed initially, so bought another 2 to keep in the car. When I used them more, one of them one part of the handle broke off when my daughter was trying to grab a coke can on the beach. She did manhandle it a bit, so can't blame the item too much. However; 2 others have failed because of weak materials - the grabber mechanism is almost like a rack and pinion - with very little use and very little pressure, they have worn the (soft) plastic teeth away. If you're only picking up (dry) tissues, then this will work. If you want to do any litter picks, I wouldn't bother.

Work as expected. Main reason we had bought them was for this time of the year when we'll need to pick up all the pears that fall to the ground overnight and get half eaten by the insects/slugs/snails in the back garden... so should come in handy!Love the fact there's two grabbers... always handy when you have more than one child fighting to help you do the work in the garden!

Very pleased with these!perfect for 8 year old grandaughter to help litter picking too! Sturdy,pick up most items of rubbish. Seems quite well made and coping so far!

bought for elderly members of church who clear up the church yard and keep finding drugs used needles and hyperdermics and spoons used in making crack for injecting/smoking. To prevent infection stick injuries I got these , safety gloves and sharps box. just have to make sure that now we got them the older persons remember to use them. Good bit of kit

Very fragile and break easily. Good at basic litter picking.

over all it is good but the magnet is only small and not strong enough to pick up a bunch of keys
