Excellent performance per price
Power supply arrived well packaged and on time. Supply output was well adjusted to within a couple of tenths of a volt. Unit is very light weight and performs well. Only two minor critiques: 1) The aluminum casing had some very sharp edges. 2) One of the large internal inductors was not securely mounted which would not normally be an issue with a power supply that is intended to be in a stationary mount. My particular use requires the supply to be mobile, so a small amount of silicone rtv proved to be quite sufficient to stabilize that internal component for rough mobility.

Well Made but Noisy!
This seems like a pretty typical switching power supply -- its well built and reliable so far.The only problem is the cooling fan is noisy and on all the time. I'm using it to power a class-D audio amp, so the noise is a real problem when using this set-up for music! My solution was to add a KSD9700 45 degree C thermostat glued with heat-sink silicon (both available from Amazon) to the big toroid inductor on the power supply (the part that gets the hottest fastest) in series with the fan. You can find youtube videos describing this process. This works (the fan rarely comes on with audio amp use) but is probably not a solution for everyone. But otherwise, this power supply won't be good for noise-sensitive situations!

Solid units, but not laboratory grade
I've used this for two projects: driving a stepper motor controller and a small induction heater. The first worked very well, and I still use two of these to power the drivers for my cnc plasma cutter. The second, not so much-- cheap induction heaters need an extremely fast rise time when they're connected to power to get going, and the power-on rise time for these units is too slow. All I had to do was add a switch in line, flip this on, then flip the switch, but it would have been better to have the fast rise time.Overall, I think these are good units. They do what they promise even in the fairly ugly electrical environment around a plasma cutter. Just know that if you have really specific needs it may take some extra components to get there.

Power to spare
Easy set up. Attached my power cable to the unit. Then attached power out to the test fixture. Testing an 8 Axis Servo drive with up to 8 AMPs per drive but not pulling that all at one time. All Drives are running motors with one drive going into Regen. Pulling an easy 16 AMP's at the top speeds of the test. Power supply performed perfectly. Didn't like that there wasn't any documentation with the power supply.

I bought this power supply to use with an inductive heater. It worked for a few minutes before two diodes blew along with another IC. The fuse for the power supply did not protect the supply. I would look elsewhere for a quality supply.

Quick delivery and works fine.
They worked fine. We needed a 48v power source and they were great.

it will do
Not as big as it looks and very noisy, the fan comes on all the time. it works is all I ask for... and it does.
