Been having great results when paired with a second 90 watt red ...
Been having great results when paired with a second 90 watt red booster along with 450 Watt Full Spectrum G8LED Veg/Flower light. Super healthy plants with lush dark green growth and lots of plump flowers with lots of foxtails. I have a 6x6x6 tent and only use about half the floor space for plants. This Lighting system, the three lamps, works great for me.Its pretty solid feeling. Had mine a few months with no issues. Not a single LED burned out in the two I have. Cooling fans all still work, not super quiet but WAY more quiet than running the 120w cooling fan my HPS used. Temps stay in the high 70s with no cooling beside the built in fans, though the environmental influences of the seasons, your grow space and where you live are the determining factors anyway. This LED is super red and super bright but I would only recommend as a supplemental light. I started by adding two of these lamps to my existing 600w HPS setup. Try a pair of them with your existing HPS setup. You will likely end up upgrading to full LED after seeing these maps in action in person. These are the first LED grow lights I have ever used, after weeks of research. There are so many LED companies now, its hard to tell what is good and what is not. I will go ahead and say this is a legit review from a real customer. It was expensive to bring my setup to all LED, about $1000 or so. It is better in so many ways. Sure you can still grow fine product with your existing HPS/MH but I went from using about 775 watts down to about 420 watts while producing a better spectrum, less heat, less risk of fire, less noise and no more replacing bulbs every 6 months!Save some scratch and step into the future!

Flowers Respond Quickly!
Like most, wondered if this light is worth the high price. Well, in my first grow with it in 6th week of flower, I can say that it really does enhance the buds, especially right underneath. I have six plants going, and each time I have moved one directly under the light, I see substantial bud growth in only one or two light on/off cycles. Perky, taller, wider, denser, faster to red hairs, etc. I've seen it with the three I have moved under it so far, and the entire 4x4 tent has a super red glow, so all are getting the extra red as well. Only challenge is the with its 12 " diameter, hard to place it near center and keep your main lighting in center. Two would be great, but expensive, slightly hot, and they do take up real estate. For future, best use would be 4 plants on rollers and just keep rotating with each watering or more frequent so all get a chance more directly under this great light.

Lightweight, silent flower boosters
Well constructed, easy to install, bought two to accompany my 450 w g8led grow/flower light in 4x4 tent. Haven't kicked them on but a couple of times so far, just to see what they'll add to the space in regard to heat , as I'm still vegging but will update once in full use when I go 12:12.So far I am impressed with the overall set up but it's replacing 600 w hps so we'll see down the road how this all compares. So far much, much less heat to deal with although it doesn't really cover the full 4x4 area as well as I would like so plan on adding a 250 w g8led and eventually and another two flower boosters. That will give me a 450w g8, a 250 w g8 and 4-90 w g8 boosters once all said and done in 4x4x8 tent. All of which I will have gotten from Dormgrow.Juicy.

Very RED!
Too soon for me to tell if this light improves the quality or yield of my harvest, but I must admit that it is solidly built, very bright and very rich in the ever so precious red hues needed for flowering. Light and compact it was a snap incorporating this light with my other G8s. My only complaint? No on or off switch, but my timer does that so it wont effect my 4 star rating. I'll give it a 5 if it improves on my yield.

Worth Every Cent!!!!
I bought one of these in 2013 and it is still working 100% of the LEDs light, and even though it doesn't add as much to my room as it use to it still seems to add a little. I tried buying a 300w all red from Amazon last year and I think it does more harm than good, it is darker red than this one. I just bought another one of these, so here's to another 7 years.

NOT ALL LED's are the same!
There is nothing wrong with a starter light - a 45-60W unit that will claim to pull 300W or more, for a screaming low price. I began that way. But if you actually care about your results, you need to care about your lights. The first time you open the box and look at the light, you will say, out loud, "wow that is so well built." Now I generally liked a power button, but there is no way I would want one to ruin the perfect design/look of this light, nor be a potential failure point for no real benefit. The first time you plug it in, you will say holy ----. Please protect your eyes... this is not your .5 watt/chip LED.My only disappointment is I have to wait a few weeks for a bigger tent to get a second G8 90.Phenomenal product.

Good light output but
This is a very bright light. It has a decent footprint and the proper 660nm spectrum which is most important for bloom. I was ready to give it a 3 star rating because the LED panel shifts around quite a bit when you move it. This doesn't seem very safe with all those components on the inside. However, I contacted the seller and they said this was normal with this product and that it comes with a 1 year warranty so if I had any problems it would be repaired/replaced. My email was responded to within minutes. So a stellar response time along with a 1 year warranty earns it 5 stars. I will probably be buying another one from them as long as this one does well. I will report back in a few months to let everyone know how it did.

G8LED 90 Watt LED
Well made light, metal, solid.., very red... but it's too expensive and a waste of money unless you use it for red light skin therapy. It has very little effect on plants as a supplemental light. I had used this as part a five light setup, 4 300w viparspectras and this one in the center with no noticeable improvements in plant production.
