Naturally alkaline clayish soil with plentiful peatmoss and some compost tilled in 3+ years ago. 2" hardwood mulch in planting beds. ., everything amended 2X/year with 10-10-10, and the grass every spring with 28-0-0.I treated my small lawn (buffalo and blue grama mix) according to directions, in addition to daylilies, sedum, and crabapple trees. The grass looked greener for about 10 days. No change in the other plants, actually the crabapples appear more yellow or bronze colored than ever. I kind of think the grass generally looked better with the cheapo walm@rt stuff.The 4yield ranules are "hard", and I don't even know if they ever dissolved. I gave a thorough watering at first, and another in 4 days.It has now been 7-8 weeks, and with a couple of tstorms, is at least closer to the neighbors that fertilize one a week, but not so much as I would use it again.
