They look just fine in the window from outside, they are plastic, and lightweight, but I really wanted candles that flicker with an auto on/off feature and that's just what I got.

Wish it had an orange flame instead of yellowish but for the price it will do.

I ordered a set of 12 candles to use in my windows for Christmas. After three days of turning on, then off the candles, I ordered these candles. I got six for the cost of approxomately $2 each, twice the cost of the others. The labor savings was worth it. It is fascinating to watch the candles switch off automatically, one by one, then switch on 18 hours later, in the same sequence, at the same time. I was concerned that if I forgot to light all the candles, it was a signal that I was not home. Plus, it became a chore to remember to switch off all the lights each night. I use the non-automatic candles in the windows that are easier to access.

2 of the candles will not stay on timer correctly. They start at very random times. I tried different batteries but had no luck.

they are better than the others i've ordered on here but no where near the quality of what micheals or most stores offer. yes they and EVERYTHING ELSE is made in china with inferior materials , poor quality & no customer support but at least these went together ok the 1st attempt and so far are working ok. we get what we pay for , sometimes, but dang if i'm not fed up with nothing but junk available at any price

I bought these candles for one of my Halloween candleabras. I tested each candle upon unboxing them. All six candles worked perfectly. The flickering flame is exactly what I wanted and the timer function was the real selling point. The timer function starts when you twist the bottom on to turn on the candle. It will stay lit for six hours, then shut off for 18. My only complaint is that there were no instructions with the candles, just six candles in a cardboard box. I searched the Amazon listing to make sure I had ordered the ones with the timer function. After testing the timer function, I am a happy customer. The price point was spot on for these candles. They are perfect for what I needed. Would buy again.

These are one of the most useless candles I have ever bought.Seriously don’t waste your money. Thankfully, Amazon gave me a full refund and let me keep the candles. I got one to work. Two will stay on while you’re holding it but as soon as you let go to place them they go off, and three are just duds. The bottoms won’t stay on, and the threads are terrible, they go round in circles and never tighten up to set a timer. Then they fall off. I should’ve known this price was too good to be true.I should have spent a little more money and bought a set of quality candles.

Bought 3 sets and all work with the same remote.
