THE carrier we’ve been looking for
When our daughter was born four years ago, we tried out A TON of carriers but sadly never made a commitment. We couldn’t seem to find one that was comfortable enough (I’m very tall, my wife is petite) for us both to wear, comfortable enough for baby at a variety of stages, or a decent price. Now, with our second child, we thought we’d try out a new brand in hopes we might finally find one. And we did! Love that it comes with a rain cover that just tucks inside when not in use, clip for carabiners, pockets big enough to actually put stuff inside. There are two water bottle sleeves on the outside and it’s easy to get baby in and out. They’ve really thought of everything. Now we can finally go for short or longer hikes as a family! Just wish it hadn’t taken this long to find a great carrier.

Update ; after contacting the company and sending them pictures of the carrier, we received a replacement. Great customer service , he even assured me he would inspect it himself before shipping it out . It was all handled quick and timely manner . This one seems to be a lot better , I guess the first one just happened to be a defective one . It happens 😊 definitely recommend it .We were really enjoying our hikes with our 2 yr old in his carrier ! Wish the fabric was a bit more sturdy for what we paid for ( tore by our 2nd hike ) as well as the bottom frame which broke . I'm hoping it has some kind of warranty , emailed them so hopefully I hear from them soon . If that wouldn't of happened I would of gave them 5 stars

We like it
Cost effective compared to other brands and good quality. I like that it’s grey and black. My only complaint is... our baby seems to be uncomfortable in it when she’s all buckled up and it leaves red marks on her, we added the little covers from our car seat to the straps for more cushion... but overall it’s worth it if you like to do hikes. The sunshade doesn’t completely cover her either from the sun. She does tend to flop to one side so we make thag side looser so it doesn’t dig into her neck. Also, I’m pretty small and we couldn’t get it tight enough around my hips to where it wasn’t putting all the weight on my shoulders so my husband has to wear it.

We absolutely love this backpack carrier. It's extremely lightweight it fits me at 5 foot 3 and 145 lb and it also fits my husband at 6 foot 5 and 250 lb my daughter is comfortable in it and even falls asleep best thing that we have invested in for our daughter while on our Outdoor Adventures.

Great Carrier
This Gorilla Carrier is great for the money! My 19 month old loves this and he seems pretty comfortable in this! I got the gray/black color! The storage compartment under the carrier does hold a lot, we actually keep the rain guard in there! We have not used the backpack portion of this yet but it is nice to have just in case!

Green gorilla pack nice but doesn't hold up.
My toddler has been in this pack for walks, while I've been out mowing the lawn (half an acre), just around the house while I do housework and things and it seemed to work well and seemed to be strong. I've had the pack for about a year and a half and have used it probably less than 15 or 20 times and the pack has developed 2 large cloth tares and now one of the straps on the side to help hold my daughter in ripped OFF as I was tightening it up with her in it! I've never been rough with this item. My child has been between 19 and 24 pounds since getting this pack. I'm pretty upset to have spent $90 on this and to have it happen. It's obviously not as safe as I had assumed!

Great bargain for parent-child adventures!
So I’ve now had the gorilla carrier for two years, and I feel qualified to give it a review. This is an excellent carrier for the money. It’s significantly less expensive than many of the other models out there, and has held up quite well over two years of use. However, the fabric used in the construction is showing some wear. The carrier has a zip-away smaller backpack which I’ve set up as a small diaper bag. It’s insufficient for longer trips, but is perfect for anything day-long or shorter. It’s currently stocked with a handful of diapers, a bag of wipes, some trash bags (for the dirty diapers), child-sized silverware, a blanket, and a pacifier.I pretty rarely use the larger compartment, but it’s great for holding an insulated lunchbox full of snacks for me and the little one.As far as the wearing-out fabric, it would be repairable if I wanted to put in the time, and it doesn’t currently affect the function of the bag, but this may not be a carrier to hand down two or three times as the kids grow out of it. For an only child? It’s ideal. If you want one that will last through multiple children, perhaps spending the extra $100-$200 on a more expensive carrier would be a worthwhile investment. But remember that for that price difference, you could buy two of these. It fits comfortably for both the wearer and the rider, and has all the advantages of any other backpack-child-carrier.Highly recommended, it met my needs perfectly.

Great carrier. Takes a while to get the perfect fit but once you do you can go on any adventure. Easy 1'person use so you can do chores around the house or climb the next peak. My kid hates all carriers too but loves this one!
