Great rangefinder. I always compare yardage with my buddy and his Bushnell and end up always laughing at him because there is absolutely no difference other than I paid $300 less he did and they do the exact same thing with the exact same accuracy.

I have gone through a few rangefinders in my time and still prefer them over GPS due to better accuracy and better slope calculations. My best one was my older Nikon which is a very expensive brand. I have owned several other cheaper models such as the one from MG golf which is my current go to options. The MG one is off about 1-2 yards vs my Nikon and vs more expensive Bushnell ones when comparing side by side but it was always "close enough" for me. It was about 1-2 yards too short. This rangefinder is about 1 yard different from my MG and shows slightly longer which puts it closer to more expensive models like Nikon and Bushnell. So for accuracy, I have to say that this is doing very well. It has several modes but I have only used the M1 mode which includes slope. I believe you can turn the slope options off for tournament play but I have not played around with that yet. Like others, the display will give you the distance to the flag (or other object you tag like a bunker) and will also show the how it plays from a slope difference. The display is not as clear as higher end models but it is still good enough that my 51 year old eyes can see it fine. I have noticed a few things which is why I docked a start from my rating. Sometimes the buttons are not as responsive as I would like so I have to hit them several times to get it to turn on and lock. It also seems to miss the feature of being able to hold the button and move it around in real time to get rolling yardages. Maybe the feature is there but I could not get it to work. So if I want to get a distance to the flag and maybe a front bunker, I have to remove my finger and then click again. I prefer the more real time measuring. Again, maybe it is there but it was not working for me. Finally, thing is super light. Very cheap plastic so I am concerned that it may break if bouncing around a cart when not in the protective case. Compared to my MG which has a more rugged rubber out shell and heavier weight, this feels more like a toy. So time will tell if it lasts. I do like the case it comes with and it also comes with a cloth to clean the lenses. A strap is included (which I never use) and it also has an extra battery which is awesome. Recently I was playing with my MG one and the battery died and I did not have a spare. So I can keep the spare in the case and it will remind me to buy a replacement when I have to swap it in. Overall, it is a nice option for someone looking for a multi function rangefinder. It is on the cheaper side of the cheap ones but the accuracy does not seem to be compromised. That is the most important thing when choosing one. Make sure i is accurate. And this one seems to be!

Affordable option to add a range finder to your golf bag. I've always played with other golfers and simply borrowed their finder, rather than dropping a hefty amount on my own. This was a great find on the Vine program, so I gave it a shot. Pleasantly surprised by the balance of quality and features. I didn't have near enough room to test this out to the 1700 yard level, as I don't intend to play golf anywhere near that far away. Normal yardage levels for golf between 100-300 yards worked great and has a nice list of features to give you better detail to plan out your next shot. I did have a bit of an issue on the shorter end of the range. The description shows 5 yards as the minimum level, but I couldn't get anything within about 15-20 yards to come in clearly. Didn't spend a ton of time on this setting, as I don't expect to use a range finder so closely to a target, but thought it was worth noting Sighting is crystal clear and the heads up display markers come through clean as well. It mentioned tripod options and several others that were 'nice to haves,' but I don't expect to utilize these features for golf. Slope was spot on and didn't notice any real discrepancy on the data it spits out. Would overall recommend, given the great value.

Item is cheaply made and results of use show

It came with a nice semi-hard case and belt carabin. 2 CR2 batteries were included. Just to be safe I also looped in the included lanyard. There are buttons on top, one turns the device on and triggers measurement, second is used to cycle through modes on a short press and switch between meters and yards on a long press. First mode just gives you distance to target, second measures its horizontal component and third measures vertical distance component. My model doesn't display slope angles (it displays distance components instead) and is also capable of continuous measurement (by holding the power button) in modes 2 and 3. In those modes it always displays distance to the target on the bottom and horizontal or vertical distance component on top. I do a lot of construction and use this tool for exterior estimates. It measures from 5 to 1700 yards and works much better outside than visible laser beam range-finder. For me distances are more important than angles and if I need to calculate a grade angle I can simply take arc sinus of vertical to horizontal distances ratio.

From what I have used and inspected, it seems like decent quality. The buttons are easy to press and seem sealed up well. The ergonomics of it feel great. The lens are good and clear and all of the numbers are easy to read. I did notice that around dusk, it starts getting hard to see the numbers as well. As long as there is plenty of light, it does great. As far as the menu and all, it is real easy to use. One button for mode and the other for cutting it on. There is a switch on the back to cut on and off something. The few tests I did it seemed to be real close to measuring right. I do not chase the little white ball around in the yard so I can not speak on if all the angles and all of that is correct. I got it for sighting scopes in and straight line measuring seems to be spot on. It also seems to be able to target in on a small item well too. I do like the removable battery so you can replace with fresh one in the field. It does come with battery and a spare. The battery compartment door seems made well and stays on well. All in all everything I done with it seemed to work great and as advertised.

I got this for my kid who is on the school golf team and loves to golf. He has been begging for a range finder and was super excited about this one. This is a low cost range finder that is giving you bang for your buck, so as long as you know you're not getting a high end, top of the line product you will love this. Honestly I couldn't justify the cost of some of these things & this is the perfect answer to give you what you want at a cost you can afford.
