Great product. Is making my edges grow. It also hold moisture in my C4 hair.

I watched a video of an esthetician prior to receiving this product who was raving about castor oil, particularly black castor oil. She was describing the characteristics of it and how its made. I'm glad I did. I was better prepared for the scent of it. Had I not known I may have been put off by it. It's not offensive at all. But because it's a nut and the nut is roasted, this is where the "black" color comes from. As a result it has somewhat of a smoky scent to it! If you're looking for something sensual or perfume-y, this isn't it. But the scent does fade after you put it on. BODY: Now, I purchased this with the intent of using it as an all over body moisturizer, head to toe! This says "butter" on the jar, but it's more like cold petroleum jelly and isn't easy to spread. If you plan to use this all over, you will have to mix it with another moisturizer that has more viscosity to make is spreadable. I have hand excema so my skin tends to have dark dry patches and I'm SUPER sensitive to a lot of things. I can't use just anything. This castor oil "butter" has been really helpful in giving my hands a deep moisture and it feels very relieving. Ive also been using it on my lips, even before bed. Now most things with this thickness would make me greasy and I would break out. Nope! This butter absorbs very well into the skin and doesn't leave a greasy feeling. HAIR: I've used it on my hair. I have really curly hair and it drinks anything I put in it. So after day 4 or 5 of washing my hair, my hair gets really dry and feels brittle to the touch. Well, I'm coming up on a week and my hair is still moisturized and it's really soft! It does leave somewhat of a coating on your hair, not greasy. I suspect that this is part of the benefit of the castor oil. Castor oil performs like petroleum jelly but without clogging yours pores. It coats, but without the clog. I'm looking forward to seeing the changes in my hair and skin with this product. I would buy this again! I may try the lavender scent next go round!

I would definitely buy this Jamaican black castor oilbutter again. Very little goes a long way and it helps with flyaways when your hair is in a ponytail or for any short hairs around your hairline near your face will definitely keep your hair settled! Its nontoxic, works well for hair, dry skin, eczema or psoriasis. Perfect jewel all in one!

My butter arrived and I couldn't wait to try it. I am natural 4c and I applied it to my edges and leave out immediately. Although the butter is somewhat thick it left my hands grease free. The butter smells and looks fresh and high quality. I appreciate the fact that it has no other fillers, just castor oil! I believe this is going to change the game for a lot of people looking for growth, thickness and moisture retention. My package also came with a complimentary bottle of castor oil (liquid) maybe 1-2 oz. I think that's really nice of them. I really feel cared for. I have a extensions and it prevents me from being able to apply this to my whole scalp for now but I am anticipating my wash routine even more because of this butter. Looking and experiencing the quality of this product makes me curious of the other hair products Sunny Isle has to offer.

first time in my life I feel I don’t have to cut my hair because it’s dry & flaky. first time in my life i feel my hair is being taken care of. I have thicker than 4c hair. This Jamaican black castor oil BUTTER works amazing for my hair!

I use it for my 4c hair as a sealant, keeps my hair moisturized longer, and gives my hair an excellent shine, makes my hair look darker in color with the shine. Not much of a greasy feeling at all, good quality product, it is very thick but I am able to apply it easily to my hair once rubbed in my hands. Can wear my hair in mini twists a lot longer and my hair isn't as tangled when I use this butter. Great protection for ends of hair. Does not irritate my scalp nor my skin. Doesn't have a scent, washes out easily, doesn't leave any residue or build-up.

I've ordered this before and it was a lot thicker. This one was more liquid and spilled in the package. 😭 I will use what is left.

Very natural without perfume. I use it in majority on my feet. Great success.

Excellent product. I've been using this to help my hair regrowth after chemo. I've been massaging directly into my scalp and happy yo say it's helping. My hair is thicker & hair growth is working. Product is a bit sticky but it is great.
