This dress is beautiful, and my daughter absolutely loved it. It fits nicely and looks perfect for a retro or party style. Great quality and very flattering!

I love this dress! I’m 5’ 5” about 165 it fits a bit snug, but an XL would be too big. The color is a dark navy. I want to buy 2-3 more, they are so cute and comfortable. The shoulder area can also be folded down to wear off shoulder.

My only complaint is that there are NO POCKETS!!! (I assumed as much when buying the dress based on the description.) But since I’m capable of adding my own and the side-seam placement will make this relatively easy, it was more important to me to pick a style and fabric I liked. The fit and flare style is perfect for a curvy figure and the white on black polka dot pattern is adorable. The fabric is truly cotton except for a little polyester in the bust lining. This fabric will probably wrinkle a little more easily but at least it will *breath* —very important if you’re going dancing! I’m usually a size 14 (L/XL) but I ordered the 3XL because my bust measurement was in-between sizes and the cotton fabric has NO stretch. There’s a little looseness and gaping but I think I’m happier with this than if I’d ordered the smaller size. This is probably most appropriate for casual occasions but I plan to wear it with heels to a semi-formal wedding where there will be dancing and I want to be able to move comfortably.

Size large was good. However I am a 36 DDD, 163 lbs and 5’6. It runs small if you have big boobs. I am getting married for the second time and is perfect. Just know if you have big boobs get a size larger. Quality is great and a nice material.

The dress fit great! Fabric was nice and had some give to it so even if I overate it would probably still be comfortable. I could move and breath fine and at no time felt like I was squeezing myself into a dress. The problem with it though was the zipper. It got stuck when I first tried it on and I shrugged it off because I was able to get it to function correctly and at first glance it didn't appear to be damaged. However the night of the event I bought this for, the zipper split open along the teeth. I was able to get it off and realigned twice but the 3rd time, as I was walking to the venue a few blocks away I felt it split again. I stopped in a bathroom to remove the dress and discovered that this time the zipper pull had completely snapped apart. Thankfully I had a shawl to cover the dress because there was no time to turn around. Concierge service was also great and provided me some safety pins. I'm giving stars because it was definitely pretty and the fabric itself felt sturdy. But the zipper was super cheap. Thankfully I know how to sew so I replaced the zipper myself rather than put myself through the headache of taking a 2nd chance of this happening again.

This was a lovely dress but it did not fit my daughter as well as the other dress she ordered so we returned it. However, there were several things she commented about. Pros: She really liked the flow of the material and the clean pleats. The dress was well made and all of the stitching was well done. The cut was very flattering. The dress looks like it can be dressed up or down depending on shoes and jewelry you add to it. Cons: She did not love the shoulders as they were uncomfortable to her and the cut left a bit of gapping where the arms meet the chest. She also commented that it would be a perfect style to add pockets (and we would have done so if we kept it). Overall: For the cost, I would recommend trying the dress.

I bought the dress for an on-stage appearance, looking for a simple little black dress with a retro appeal. The fabric is good, sturdy quality cotton. The v-neck draped front is flattering and sexy, but not too revealing, and for middle-aged ladies like myself I prefer the litte wing-like short sleeves to spaghetti straps. The top of the dress covers bra straps perfectly well, even when dancing; always a plus. I bought 2X large, being a tall, statuesque person, and for me the waistline is a little to high up - or my torso is too long - but the dress fits fine and overall looks really cute. The elastic waistline makes changing without help easier (there is a long zipper in the back that takes some contortionist ability to zip completely by yourself) and makes for a very comfy outfit. Careful: when sitting down in hot weather and sweating, the fabric really crumples and will not hang back out without ironing.

It arrived earlier than expected arrival date, but the dress itself is made from terrible material. Looks and feels like wearing a burlap sack. Sent it back immediately.

Colour was lovely , wasn’t over generous stretch in it , but fitted quite well on the body I’m a pear shaped body , so skimmed over body & was flattering on, length was well below knee & perhaps a little to long for me 5ft 1, but it was fine for what I needed it for .

Lovely dress - nice fit and well made. The waist is at a flattering height and there's actually enough room in the chest area without the dreaded gaping! I would usually go for a 16, (14 at a push) and found the 2XL fits perfectly. It's the second dress I have from this seller and have been very happy with both.
