Hi, the Home app currently does not support to set up automation triggered by temperature or humidity changes; they may support it in the future. We are working on enabling this kind of automation in our Qingping+ app (via HomeKit), it should be ready in the next two months. We also plan to support IFTTT in the next half-year, please stay tuned.

Q: Firmware update process has been stuck at 0% for an hour. Is device broken?

I don't think so. The phone app is probably just hung up. Quit and relaunch the app and start the update process again. Make sure the phone is close to to the thermometer (it uses Bluetooth which is short range) and you have a good cell or wifi signal.

Hi, sorry, currently we do not have plan of a backlit version.
