Himalayan Animal Licking Pink Salt Lick Horse Cattles Pure Natural for Livestock - 10 lbs

This came exactly when expected. It arrived in a plastic sleeve then placed in a box inside a shipment box. The Salt lick also came with a rope to hang. I bought this for my bunny.... The whole 10lbs worth. I figure it was the best value for the amount received. Salt with minerals is needed for all animals and my bunny goes through the smaller discs quite quickly. This one is hung up off the floor about 4 inches on a room divider gate I have set up for her, just in case she spills some of her water from "binkying", to protect the lick. She seems to like it & I've caught her licking it often. I was a little worried she wouldn't like it because of its size or would be a different taste from what she was used to, but that's definitely not an issue. I noticed that the rope is definitely for indoor or out of the elements use only, as it's made out of a natural fiber, quite possibly cotton. So don't hang this outside for horses or cattle, or rope would weather away. Plus the rain would wash away at the product and be a waste.I purchased this from the seller TigerDive. I feel that it's important to list the seller as well, because there have been times I've made purchases of the same products from different sellers, but have received different quality or other variances in items.***UPDATE*** 5-1-2017This thing should last me well over a year, for my bunny. This is definitely a treat for her as well as some of her essential minerals. I'm posting pictures of what it looks like present day, just shy of 5 months of use. Definitely well worth it, especially compared to the cost of the rinky-dink small animal sized salt licks!!

Have bought my second one - deer love it and have gone through one in a reasonable time...and we had a fair amount of rain then, so it held up well. You will have to rotate it occasionally as the deer lick it thin in the same place. I just adjust it on the rope and they are right back at it. I hang it from green metal stake that when pounded into the ground is about 5 ft. tall. I hang it at about 4 ft. and it is a perfect height for the deer.

Picture shows a block of salt with a rope. Doesn’t come with a rope. What should have been an easy installation required a trip to Home Depot.

I have 10 goats, 10! This salt lick will last them months. I was having to go to the store all the time for such smaller ones for more money. Def only ordering them this way now

I have ordered this product 2-3 times now and I can't complain! My horse absolutely loves it and it keeps her busy in her stall. I'd say it last a a few months (depending on how often I stall her). Highly recommend! Item arrived on time with zero issues.

I ordered one for a cousin who raises Goats as pets and was not sure if it worked for Goats, as there was a difference of opinion on the information about Goats and Salt. However, my cousin says her Goats absolutely go crazy for these. I originally ordered small, but now I try to the get the biggest for the best price. I would only do the Himalayan Salt for them as I like real natural products.
