Purchased with two day shipping as the house was getting cold... but not cold enough to spring for next day delivery! Ordered from Amazon and it arrived at my door two days later (very good considering I placed the order around 6:45PM). Item was packaged well and arrived undamaged. It was exactly what I needed and easily installed without issues replacing the old motor and blower-fan for my SWGII-4HD unit. My original fan rusted completely away and I only discovered it because one of the blades lodged itself into the outer assembly preventing the motor from spinning. I had been running all year with only 5 fins! Luckily, the new fan is stainless steel so it shouldn't rust out. Technically, my old motor was still OK until I tried removing the old fan. After stripping a couple hex wrenches, draining my liquid wrench, trying a torch, drilling out the set screw and finally resorting to a hammer, I finally managed to destroy the motor. I tossed it out with the rusted fan still attached and bought this. If you're thinking of just replacing the fan, definitely try to remove it first as you may find it easier to order this unit instead.

My Field Controls Power Vent, (fan vent for oil burner furnace), starting making weird noises on startup occasionally. Decided to have it repaired before Winter using the motor repair kit rather than buy the whole Power Vent unit. My heating service guy took about an hour to install. Glad I didn’t have to pay for the whole expensive Power Vent assembly.

Exactly what I ordered. Worked perfectly. Installed easily. Everything worked at start-up and continousily since then. I would not hesitate to order from here again.

Wish this were cheaper, but it was an exact replacement. Very well packed and arrived in only two days. Very pleased.

Tried to start up the heater for the season and the exhaust fan was noisy and smelled like plastic burning. The exhaust blower was eight years old I had never lubricated it. Well, it lasted a fairly long time. I also ordered the specific lube needed to be used each year. Says it can increase the life of the unit up to five times. Could get another lube for less than the forty dollars it cost, but, don't want to void the eighteen month warranty from the manufacturer. Glad I was able to find just the motor and not the whole assembly. Ordered it through the seller ProSupplyDirect. Came in just two days. Easy to replace.

This was delivered in late December to replace the power vent motor that we had for six years. Yesterday, the motor died! I only had it for a little over two months and am really disappointed to say the least I use this on my coal furnace and as mentioned the original motor lasted over six years. I will be contacting their customer service to see if there's anything that can be done but this was a $300 unit off of Amazon and there's no reason this should've died this quickly
