This brace is great because it goes on over your shoe and avoids the problem of having shoes of different height. It is easy to strap on and holds the ankle in place securely. I use it for peroneal tendonitis and wish I would have had it when the injury first occurred. This device really should render those old stiff boots with the thick soles obsolete.

A week in and this brace is awesome! So much more mobility than a traditional boot, yet still feel supported and confident I'm not go to make my injury worse. Was easy to put on (could wear my own shoe!) and not nearly as noticeable as a big hunk of plastic like the old boot. This brace provides the comfort and stability I was hoping for. This is truly an amazing product especially for people with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease (CMT). Purchased this for my husband who has CMT, which caused his right foot to become twisted and therefore he was not able to walk. With this brace, he can now support himself much better and is able to walk more normally with the use of a walker.

It is expensive, but it works so well. I was able to remove the air cast boot which went all the way up to my knee and replace it with this boot. My doctor loved the boot which is a new technology. It helps with the pain after a fracture and sprain. I would highly recommend this boot as an alternative to an air cast if your doctor allows it, which mine did.

I really wished it had worked. For the quality of this brace, it is not worth over 200 dollars. The materials are just pieces of plastic put together. You're better off buying a cheap walking boot some of my cheap walking boots are better quality than this. If you wear this for a true ankle and foot fracture it is not going to help you at all. This can maybe be used for a sprain or something nothing serious but no way can this help you with a real injury. Buy the cheap ankle supports they help much more. 200 dollars of junk!!. The Velcro is not high quality and it has these tiny junky Pieces of plastic holding a hinge made of more cheap plastic in place. The minute I put it on the strap that goes under the shoe came off its hook and plastic hinge could not handle my foot without twisting. The true support your getting is from your shoe. It can maybe help you with arthritis but for that buy a cheap brace it does the same thing. I'm tightening the straps no support and I am wearing a size small. This REALLY IS A PIECE OF JUNK.

Mom has gone thru several different professionally fitted braces since having a stroke 7 years ago. She has drop foot quite bad, some of the braces stopped helping as she had ambulatory improvement, lost weight and wanted a nicer shoe style. This brace definitely helps keep mom’s foot supported in the correct position and although it is meant for short term use it seems to be more comfortable especially in the heat of the summer.

This is a great design, nice color, stabilizes the ankle great. I would change 1 thing, the bottom strap. Although it's a durable plastic, it needs to be reinforced &/or a covering out over the strap. If this strap breaks or is shredded from walking (it touches the ground every time your foot contacts the ground), you can't use it anymore. Please fix this, as it's quite an expensive stabilizer. Thank you

As an accident prone human it’s been hard to manage other devices in day to day life. This brace was lightweight and supportive. I loved that I could wear my regular shoe with it so I didn’t lose that support under my foot. After breaking my ankle once, and then a terrible bout of tendinitis, I needed something that would last me 12 hour shifts on my feet. This brace gave the stability I needed without being cumbersome and I felt comfortable wearing it every day. I’m so happy I found this recommendation.
