I live in Hawai'i where a few species of mosquitoes also call home. While they normally don’t bother me, I like to protect susceptible family and friends. Two of these tea lights in our outdoor area is enough to keep the mosquitos away. It is amazing. Even better, they smell pleasant.

I’m excited to use these even though they arrived cracked, I’m going to have them melt a little to see if it forms back together and I just hope they keep mosquitoes away!

i really like these little tea light candles. we put them in a couple Chinese cast iron lanterns around the porch and you can definitely smell the citronella/lemon grass. i like that these help keep the bugs away while also adding ambiance to the deck at night. they burn for quite a few hours but I've never timed them. i do wish they were in a metal cup instead of plastic but it doesn't effect the burn and the little flame doesn't burn or melt the plastic cups
